"Mum I'm home" I said as I unlocked the door, then jumped over the piles of magazines and empty wine bottles.

"What's for dinner?" I asked while opened up the fridge looking for a snack. She didn't reply.

"Mum?"

Still no reply.

I walked The the small corridor and open her bedroom door. She wasn't there either. So I turned to leave, as I did out of the corner of my eye I saw her in the ensuite bathroom.

"Mum, you could've knowledge that I'm here you know." I said as I open the sliding door.

I saw the horrific sight as I opened the door. She was laying there covered in vomit, with empty wine bottles scattered across the floor along with two empty heart medicine bottles.

"Oh my god, mum? Mum? Mum please. Oh god."

I started to cry. She wasn't moving.

I ran into the kitchen while almost falling over the bottles grabbed my cell phone off the counter and called an ambulance.

I sit on the kitchen floor crying. The thing is I'm not sad that My mum's on the floor covered in her own vomit. I'm sad because my shit day just got worse.

She's probably just passed out drunk again. She's so selfish. Did she really have to do this two weeks before my 16th birthday?

Two paramedics bang on the door. I open it and say "she's in the ensuite bathroom last room down the hall."

I watch the the door frame as they start performing CPR. It's never been this serious before. One of The paramedics stands up and walks into the hall. I hear her calling for more help and the police.

Now my stomach starting to turn. I feel sick.

Another two paramedics run in and my mum gets carried out on a stretcher while a police officer arrives. What are the paramedics tells me to get in the ambulance and we have to take her to hospital.

With tears running down my face I climb into the back of an ambulance. Don't be a bitch and die on me will you mum?

When we get to the hospital I'm asked to stay in a waiting room while A policeman asks me if he can call anyone. I nod and give him Lottie's mum's number.

I'm just sitting there surrounded by random strangers crying.
