This is my first time writing an actual story. Also, I'm probably not depicting the right picture of DID.

DID {dissociative identity disorder} was once called Multiple Personality Disorder, is  a disorder in which a person alternates between one or more alternate personalities. They function with separate memory and awareness and adapt with amnesia between them. For example, all the little BTS stories. They're also a bit of DID because they're alternate personalities. In this story, I will be referring to them as alts or alters. It's extremely rare to the general public, its estimated that between one to three percent of the global population may of this disorder. 

For example, Yoongi's alternates are himself {as the host, male}, Hisoka {protector, female} and Hyunwoo {the little, male}. Before all of you assume Yoongi is part trans, he's not. Alters can be female, male, or whatever they want to be. 

Positive triggers are triggers that can make a certain alter come forward. Just because it has the  word positive in positive trigger doesn't mean its a good thing. If Hyunwoo's positive trigger is done, he could be kidnapped or be really vulnerable since he's basically only a child.

If I'm depicting DID wrong, please tell me as I would like to spread awareness for DID despite not having it myself.
