Our Final Goodbyes

New Year's Eve passed and it is now 2022, everyone was working hard to collect the remaining energon crystals on earth and now they were at ninety-seven percent, it has been extremely hard to find energon mines and veins sense they've  had to go underground, meaning that they had to squeeze into tight spaces and blow up some areas to make more room to use their drills and other tools. Poor soundwave had to increase the sensors up by a thousand just to search the underground layer of earth's crust.
But the good news is that phantom is starting to talk in full sentences and the twins are as thick as thieves now and are playing pranks on the vehicons, especially Steve and the rest of the crew. Bumblebee has been recovery after his surgery, but he is still not allowed to speak just yet in fear of accidentally damaging the new voice box, because bee will be a chatter bot for the next solar cycles, so the docs are going to wait then do some tests then do some vocal exercises with the scout, it's just like teaching a sparkling how to talk, bee can still use his bleeps amd bloops to communicate but only when needed.
But for the bad news Arcee has been feeling a lot of pain in her stomach and starscream feels it too, so they both had to go to med-bay for many check ups, so far they have been in there for about four and half days in a row, both doctors still have no idea on what's going on with her but her belly has been growing much faster than it has before strangely enough.
Right now ratchet is taking a energon blood sample directly from arcee's stomach fluid then examining it closely under the microscope while knockout was checking her spark connection with the baby by using a scanner that focuses on her internal veins and the vitals on the sparkling too, nothing seems to be out of the ordinary but the shape of the foetus looks a little odd, it looks like there goi g to have another seeker but they don't know it's genders, but they are ok for now. Starscream has been standing by arcee with their servos entwined together, every time she gets injected with a needle he too growls in pain sense their spark bond has been very sensitive with arcee's pregnancy.
knockout has also checked starscreams spark connection too just in case something happens in the future with this abnormal growth rate and suddenly pain.
"Hey ratch do you think we should use that dark energon trick again, I mean it worked for them last time with the twins and for megatron and phantom too?" Knockout asked while putting down the scanner on a table then connecting it the computer for further research and solutions.
"I was think about that too knockout, but no we can't because the dark energon could possibly hurt both arcee and the baby" he explained then leaned up from the desk, "because you need to come and look at this blood sample I have just taken from arcee" knockout walked over to him and bent over to look into the microscope to see that acree's energon was completely blue with no signs of the dark energon in it, when she was pregnant with the twins her, for lack of better words, egg sack had tiny flakes of dark energon in it which later on appeared in the twins blood as seen in their optics too and it improved their cognitive and growth rate, same with phantom too. Knockout then stood back up to scratch at his chin with a hum.
"So what you're saying is that I'm completely clean of the dark substance in my system?" Arcee asked while rubbing the area of where the needle went into her stomach plating.
"Yes you are correct arcee" ratchet answered "but I just don't understand why your getting bad cramps everyday" he hummed in thought.
"Maybe she's in pain because her body needs just a little bit of dark energon so that the baby can properly grow, I might be wrong but feel like ever sense arcee and I were forced to have disturbing earth based cocktails of oil and petrol, the dark substance was killing it over time along with the synthetic energon later on, you know like a antibody" starscream joined in with his thoughts and the doctors hesitantly nodded in agreement.
"Well you may be right starscream but we gotta make sure that acree's body doesn't get infected by it so we'll start off by ejecting a very small amount of dark energon into her veins once a week or fortnightly. But we'll also have to do the same to you starscream because of the spark bond, but this does mean that megatron might possibly feel you're connection as well but it won't be much of problem, hopefully" ratchet explained and looked into a cupboard to find the evil substance and used a syringe to carefully eject a small quarter amount into starscream's forearm first then acree's. hopefully the baby won't be badly effected by them doing this, just then megatron and optimus appeared on the computer in a live video feed.
"My fellow autobots and decepticons we have finally reached our goal in collecting all of the energon off this planet and we shall be going back to cybertron very soon" megatron annoused to everyone on the entire ship, every single cybertronian and predacon cheered with joy but some of the autobots were upset about this and so optimus then spoke up next.
"Autobots, I know this will be spark breaking for all of us to leave our human friends behind but I am insisting that we go soon and say our last goodbye to them before we leave tomorrow" the prime said with a slight frown then megs appeared again.
"Tomorrow we all will be very busy for our departure to cybertron so I want you to get some recharge and wake up early for tomorrow we will be reviving our lost home"
The screen turned off and everyone in the room fell silent until ratchet was called by optimus on the comm link.
"Yes optimus........uh huh....yes we'll meet up with you soon with the others" the chat ended and he turned towards the others bots. "Optimus wants us to go to the main room so we can go to earth" he then helped arcee up off the berth and Star took over by holding her closely to his side and they all made their way to the main room, the twins were coming too along with knockout as well, soundwave transported the autobots to jasper nervada where the old base was. But unfortunately ultra Magnus didn't want to go because he's never meet the humans and so he stayed behind on the ship.
