Chapter 39 - Second chance

Y/N POV

It's been about a month since I came to Busan. The girls kept calling and texting me so I ended up blocking theirs numbers. Things had started getting difficult, I had developed an addiction to the pills and I've pretty much wasted all my money on it. I've spent the past week sleeping in alleyways and I couldn't do it anymore. The only positive thing that really has happened to me was my weight gain, I only ate cheap fast food so I didn't look like a walking skeleton anymore, I didn't have muscles or anything just looked normal. I walked in downtown Busan when I saw a group of street performers. They were playing instruments and singing, I stopped and watched them. They looked like they enjoyed themselves and the crowd did too. They got a big round of applause then people started giving them money. That's when I got a idea, "I can sing for money, I mean I had JYP himself praise my voice" I walked down the street till I found a park, there were a ton of people eating and socializing I figured this would be a good spot to make some quick money. I walked over to the most populated area. I dropped my bag and took off my hoodie and balled it up and placed it in front of me. People started staring at me. I took a deep breath and I started singing. I felt like I was going to have a heart attack of how nervous I was. I had gathered a crowd around me. I finished the song and I heard clapping and cheering it was a real confidence booster. I started singing a new song. I sung for a while until I felt my voice giving out. I got one last applause and people started putting money on my hoodie. When they had all finished giving money I bent over and collected it. I put my hoodie back on as I counted the money. "100,000 won that should be enough for my next fix and some food" I was about to pick up my bag and leave when a man in a suit tapped my shoulder. I looked at the guy and he looked at me

"Can I help you?"

"Yes... well no, but I can help you" he responded, his words confused me

"What do you mean?" I looked him up and down

"You see I heard your singing and it was truly amazing" he said putting his hand on my shoulder

"Okay... and what do you want?" I removed his hand off my shoulder

"You see I'm a talent scout for SM Entertainment, what do you say, would you like to try out?" He pulled out a business card and handed it to me. This could be my chance!

"Yes, I will take you up on that offer" I shook his hand and he told me to meet him tomorrow in Seoul at the SM Building, I agreed and we walked different paths.

"SM Entertainment huh... it's in Seoul though FUCK, I'll just have to stay very lowkey stay as far away from the JYP building and the twice house as possible" I messaged my dealer and asked him if he had any connections in Seoul, he responded with a of course and he send me some dudes kakao ID. I put my phone away and walked to the train station and bought myself a ticket to Seoul. I took the ktx train since it was the fastest. I found myself and seat. The train ride was only a couple of hours so it went by pretty fast. I got off at my stop and googled where the SM building was. It wasn't super far away so I decided to walk there. It was late and dark outside and I started getting tired. I kept walking till I made it to the SM building. I saw a dumpster in the corner so I decided to hunker down there for the night. I sat down leaning my back into the dumpster, It smelled horrible, but I didn't really have a choice. I pulled out my last pills and downed them all before I closed my eyes. I woke up by someone tabbing my shoulder. I opened my eyes and I saw this pretty girl looking at me.

"See Irene I told you he was just sleeping" some other girl standing behind her said

"I had to check, if he was dead I would feel terrible for ignoring him" she responded, I was so confused who are these girls, I took out my phone and looked at the time my eyes widened as I saw I was 10 minutes late.
