Chapter 42 - Legend in the making

Y/N POV

today is finally the day the world will know about me. I worked my ass off the past two weeks writing songs and learning the choreography. I was on my way to the SM building. I had all the songs I made recorded on a usb stick. I was in a happy mood, even though I haven't had my fix for a couple of days. I was feeling withdrawal symptoms, but I ignored it nothing was going to ruin this day for me. I could finally see the SM building. I entered the building and the receptionist gave me her usual annoyed look. I just smiled back. I took the elevator to Mr Wang's office. I knocked on the door and Mr Wang welcome me in.

"Hello Y/N today is the big day huh?" He said with a smile

"Yep I got all the songs on here" I handed him the usb stick.

"Perfect, I knew I could count on you" he pulled out his laptop and plugged in the usb stick.

"So as you probably know from your choreography training we want you to have a sexy/love concept, so I hope that's the kind songs you've made" he said opening the folder and looked at the song list

"Of course sir that's the only type of songs I know how to write" I responded to his statement. I started playing all the songs he seemed happy especially with the last song.

"Oh man! I love this song especially the lyric 'Girl I don't need no drugs, I get my fix from your love' that's a powerful lyric. If I were to choose a song to debut with this one is it" he said with he a smile. "God if he only knew the truth about that lyric" I smiled back at him

"Then it's settled I'll debut with this song"

"Great now we just need a song title then we will send you on your way to record the music video" Mr Wang said as he put the laptop away.

"Uhm.... how about... My lover?" I never was good with naming songs.

"Yea that will do, please wait in the lobby a private car will come pick you up and take you to the music video shoot" He explained

"Ok and thank you Mr Wang, you truly turned my life upside down" I said with a smile as I went to leave to office

"You're welcome" he waved me goodbye as I went down into the lobby. I could see the receptionist giving me a dirty look as I sat down.

"You shouldn't look at SM's future solo artist like that you know?" I said with a smirk as I sat down on a empty chair.

"Good one, but I'll believe it when I see it" She chuckled

"Oh you will trust me, check the SM youtube channel at midnight at you will eat your own words" I scoffed I could tell she was about to say something, but she got cut off by a man.

"Mr Park I'm here to drive you to the music video shoot" he said standing in front of me

"Ah yes thank you, goodbye" I waved at the receptionist as I followed him into a black SUV that was parked outside. I was sitting in the back listening to music. "I can't wait to be a star, and when I surpass those idiots in my old group they're going to regret ignoring me" I felt a smirk building on my lips as I stared out the window. After a 30 minute drive we made it to a big hanger looking building. The driver stopped and we got out.

"Mr Park I will be parked here when you come back" he said with a smile

"Ok" I smiled back and walked towards the building a woman waving at me. She introduced herself and I followed her into the building. She lead me into a dressing room, she handed me the outfit for the shoot. I quickly changed into it and she sat me down in a chair. She did my hair and some makeup. I looked in the mirror and I looked fucking good. After 10 minutes she was done and she lead me into a big room with camera people. I met the director and he placed me in front of the camera's I heard my song start playing and he yelled action. I started dancing and singing. Only during the photoshoot I realized how sexual the choreography was. I was moving my hips and grinding on the floor running my hands along my abs. They splashed water on my so my shirt turned see through. If it was a music video shoot I swear you could put this into the move magic mike. After many painstaking hours we were finally finished. Everyone clapped for me and I bowed. I went back to the dressing room and changed back into my regular outfit. I left the building and I saw the same black SUV I arrived in standing in the same spot. I walked over and I saw the driver on his phone. I knocked on the window and he unlocked the door. I got in the back and he drove me home. I said goodbye to the driver and then I headed inside. It felt good knowing that I was about to debut. But I was also hit with a wave of sadness. This was going to be a big moment in my life and I was all alone. I went into the kitchen and cooked myself one of Ms Kim's recipes. After I had finished cooking and eating I sat down on the couch. I checked the time on my phone it was only 8 PM and Mr Wang said the music video would be ready by midnight. I knew I wasn't going to make it to midnight. I went into my room and found my pills.

"You guys are the only friends I'll ever need" I mumbled to myself as I swallowed a couple of them. I went to the couch again and started watching TV till I fell asleep.

Dahyun POV

It was almost midnight and me and Nayeon Unnie were sitting in the living room on Mina's laptop we kept refreshing the SM channel waiting for the new artist to debut the others just watched us.
"Why do you guys care so much about the new artist?" Mina asked as she looked at me

"It's been a while since anyone new has debuted also I'm bored!" I responded

"What she said" Nayeon added

"Prfft good one Nayeon, knowing you. You probably only wanna know if it's a hot guy" Jeongyeon teased and we started laughing

"Yea, so what? A pretty queen like me needs a handsome king" she argued back

"I don't know about all that, have you seen yourself in the morning" Jihyo snickered

"IT'S OUT!" Nayeon squealed as she clicked the video. Everyone ran over to us and watched the video.

"Hello I'm Mr Wang and I am very excited and happy to announce SM Entertainment's newest solo star. He has put in a lot of hard work to get to this spot so without any further ado, SM Entertainment presents the world premier of Park Y/N's song My lover" We all looked at each other wide eyed as we heard Y/N's name

"THERE IS NO WAY IT'S OUR Y/N" Jihyo yelled. We all shushed her as the video started playing. We all squealed as we saw Y/N show up. He was ripped as hell. He started singing and dancing and I started feeling hot inside. The music video ended and we all just looked at each other.

"Holy shit..." Chaeyoung said

"Y/N is fucking sexy!" Nayeon added

"Amen" a couple of the girls said in unison

"I can't believe that Y/N is the new solo artist for SM...." Jeongyeon said scratching the back of her head. Sana ran off into her room.

"Yea that's actually insane. Also did you guys see his muscles?! He didn't even remotely look like he did when he left!" I said going back in the video till we saw him shirtless.

"He's so damn sexy" Nayeon said she was basically almost drooling

"Ok we get it, you don't have to call my brother sexy anymore" Jihyo scoffed at Nayeon

"I'm just happy he's ok" Mina said with a smile on her face

"Me too" we all said in unison

"I knew he was alright I talked to him at the fan meeting a couple weeks ago remember" I said looking at them

"Oh yea I forgot about that" Jeongyeon responded.

Sana POV

"Oh god Y/N.... I miss you so much!" I was crying silently into my pillow. I still hadn't gathered courage to tell Mark about Aki. Why must things be so difficult. And what about your daughter Y/N, just because one isn't your doesn't mean you can disown your kid!
