Chapter 9

The team has won ,while everyone was busy celebrating Ayesha got a call,It was her Mom. She picked it up and her mom voice sounded anxious

" Ayesha... ", She called out anxiously.

" Mother, what happened ?" Ayesha asked worriedly.

" I got a call from Ali's school and they said he had passed out ."

" What , why, what happened to him ".

" I don't know Habibi , could you pls go and take a look at him . I am stuck at the subway?" her mother pleaded.

" Yes Yes I am going ".

She cut the call , and stood up to go . While everyone was busy celebrating , Ayan saw her worried face while she was ready to leave.

" Ayesha, where ? " Ayan asked her .

" I have to go " . Ayesha looked at her apologizing.

Ayan didn't ask her again, she saw her leaving while everyone was busy shouting and celebrating unaware of anything.

When she reached exit , someone seemed to notice her presence , he looked at her confused.

" Where is she going ? " , he asked himself.

His friend heard him.

" Michael did you said something? "

" Huh? " , He turned towards his friend while his friend looked at him confused.

" Did you said something to me? "

" Nah".

Daniel knew that he has said something but didn't bother asking him again. He was happy for his friend who was busy celebrating in the court with his teammates.

Ayesha drive fast and reached Ali school , it was few blocks away. She parked her car and rushed inside the school. She spotted Ali's class teacher In the hallway carrying books. She rushed towards her. Teacher saw her and stopped in her track.

" Madam Denise, I am Ali's sister ".

" Oh ,Miss Ahmed , How are you?"

" I am fine, How is Ali ? "

" Ali is fine now, He is in nurse office, you can meet him ".

" Ok , thank you so much ".

" No problem , Dear ".

She searched school corridor and spotted nurse office. She knocked on the door .

" Come in ".

She pushed the door open and saw Ali' laying down on the bed. She rushed towards him.

" Ali ".

Ali was sleeping still and didn't hear anything. She tried to stir him up to wake up but that didn't work.

"Miss Ahmed let him rest a bit ". She heard nurse who was standing behind her..

She turned toward the nurse who went to the other side of bed and checked the Iv . Ali was still asleep.

" What happened to him ? "

" Nothing much he happened to have a low blood sugar level and that's why he fainted , he has any complications ?".

" No ,I don't know".

" Ok , then it might have happened because of him skipping the breakfast "

" Yeah maybe " she didn't know what to say anymore..

There was a silence for a bit. Ali stirred and opened his eyes. Ayesha smiled at him and Nurse did too..

After a hour she took him with her to their home.
