_FULLMOON_

Of all things that I could possibly be jealous of, I'd choose to envy the moon.

During the day, she dreams of you
And
At night she tucks you into slumber
And
At dusk she kissed you softly, blanketing the parts of your skin that my
lips could never touch.

I envy that she stares into the auburn browns and passionate rigs of honey in your eyes.

I envy the tides that she moves with a blink; the waves that brush upon you, but instead leave me to drown.

But what I envy most about the moon is that you love her from so far away.
So cold, so distant, so empty and lonesome.
Yet, still more beautiful than I'll ever be.
