Laundry Course
Jisoo was the best thing that had ever happened to Chaeyoung. The brunette was kind, determined, funny, and incredibly beautiful. She was perfect in Chaeyoung's eyes and would do anything for the brunette. However, she could not hide her shock and horror on her eyes when she hears her wife.
"Can I help?" She asks, her eyes turning to how puppies beg their owner to feed them with snacks, like Dalgom for example.
If Chaeyoung was asked about two things Chaeyoung doesn't like to combine, it's Jisoo with kitchen, and laundry room.
Chaeyoung looked up from the machine that had just stopped spinning back and fort. She was in the stage where she would empty the machine and put the wet clothes on the basket and then go and dry.
Honestly speaking, she never expected her wife to ask her if she can help. Not after that incident where she almost turned the house to a swimming pool, but with bubbles on it. They had to stay up all night, cleaning the floor and turning on the electric fan to dry the wet floor. Chaeyoung was scolding Jisoo nonstop that time which the brunette could only mutter 'sorry' in a tiny voice and tried to make it up with Chaeyoung's favorite food which Chaeyoung gladly surrenders to and spend their night cuddling and smooching at each other's face.
Since then, Jisoo is banned from entering the laundry room.
Upon remembering that moment, Chaeyoung doesn't want to repeat the history, so she tries to divert her wife's attention away from the laundry room without actually shooeing her away.
"Did you feed Dalgom?" She asks, not daring to meet up with Jisoo's eyes.
"Done," She hears her wife.
"Okay, did you clean the living room?"
"Also done,"
"Don't you have something to do?"
She finally dares to look up at her wife's eyes and Jisoo smiled in response. Snaking her arms to the blonde's waist as she placed her chin on the blonde's shoulders.
"But I want to help you," She whispered, planting a kiss on the blonde's cheeks lovingly.
"Okay, fine." She says, passing the basket that is full of wet clothes to Jisoo.
Jisoo smiled as she lets go of her wife and starts to follow her wife.
Moments later, they had arrived and Chaeyoung starts to take the hanger and attach the clothes to it. Jisoo, who is observing how the blonde did it, followed what her wife does and, and of course. Chaeyoung wouldn't miss the proud smile that have appeared on the brunette's face when she succeed on her first try.
She looks like a baby who just made her first step with her own to legs and no support from it's parents.
Chaeyoung couldn't help but to giggle secretly.
The two continued their work peacefully with Jisoo purposely, playfully bumping her shoulders at Chaeyoung and would move her eyebrows up and down at Chaeyoung which earned a confused look and an amused chuckle from the blonde.
"What?" The blonde asks, amused at the brunette's dorky acts.
"Nothing," Her wife says, with a grin on her lips.
The blonde shrugged off what the brunette is planning and continued on attaching the clothes on the hanger. The brunette, however, has other plans and continue to brush off her shoulder at the blonde.
"What?"
"I love you,"
That was unexpected. The blonde stayed still and looked at her wife and Jisoo couldn't comprehend what's inside on her mind. Jisoo did the same and she broke into a chuckle when she sees Chaeyoung turning to beet red afterwards.
"What's with you today?" Chaeyoung asked, her hand slapped Jisoo's shoulder.
"Well, I have something to tell you,"
She stopped what she's doing and faced her wife who's having a small grin plastered across her face.
"I took Laundry Course," She confessed at Chaeyoung.
"You what?"
"Laundry," She breathes out, "Course."
"I know what Laundry Course is, love, but you what?"
"Uhh, Laundry Course? I asked Jennie to teach me,"
The blonde could only stare at her wife, speechless and not be able to believe that her wife, Jisoo, took laundry course, but for what for? One thing Chaeyoung discovers about Jisoo while dating her for almost ten years and still counting was Jisoo doesn't do her laundry, and even if she does, she doesn't, since she always have the dry cleaner employee to do it for her. Hearing this from Jisoo, Chaeyoung couldn't help, but to question more in her head. It was unexpected.
Her thoughts were stopped when she feels Jisoo holding her wrist and then carressing her fingers gently along with hers.
"Remember the incident where I almost blow up the house with bubbles and waters?" The blonde nodded in response.
"I don't want that to happen again, so I thought it's a good idea to let Jennie teach me you know... how to do them,"
Jisoo bit her lower lip unconsciously and of course, Chaeyoung saw it. When Jisoo starts to bite her lower lip, that only mean one thing and she is nervous.
Chaeyoung smiled wamrly, as she moved her hand away and reached out to carress her wife's cheek. Jisoo, in response, as always, she would lean at her wife's warmth.
"But you have me do the laundries, baby,"
Upon hearing that, she feels Jisoo pulling away from the warmth and furrowed her brows at her wife. Totally not agreeing at what the blonde said.
"You're my wife, Chaeng. Not my personal maid or something," She paused, "And also, we should take turns on who to do the laundries," She raised her right hand up to her face level like a soldier who said it's vows with a smile on her lips.
"I swear I won't fill the house with bubbles and waters this time,"
Chaeyoung couldn't help but to break a chuckle and leaned closer to plant light kisses on the brunette's lips.
"Okay,"
Her home is very adorable right now.
