I placed my phone on the night stand and grabbed my locket tight and drifted off to sleep...
BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP
Ahh oh my! So loud, eyes barely even open I reach my hand out to feel for my nightstand, and there's my phone bleeping away. I turned the alarm off.
**1 MESSAGE FROM TODD**
07:00AM: Morning Baby, best of luck today thinking of you.
Instantly I start to smile, looking down and opening my locket once more. Seeing the pictures making me feel at ease.
07:01AM: And a Good Morning to you handsome. Thank you, speak later.
I jumped out of bed took a shower, and brushed my teeth. I came out my Ensuite with my towel wrapped around my body. I opened my wardrobe and stared helplessly at my clothes. What do I wear on my first day? I Don't want to stand out. But I don't want to look shit.
FUCK.
As I was pondering about what clothes to put on my body I realised there was a young red haired boy giggling to himself across the road. I quickly ducked and hid below the window! 'FUCK FUCK FUCK!' I Said out loud. I crawled along the floor and grabbed my bathrobe and quickly put it on... yes whilst still on the floor.
Slowly... I rose up. And he was still standing there. I lifted up the window as he mirrored my action.
"I did not realise your bedroom was directly opposite" I said, face red as a tomato.
"Hahaha, I Guessed" he said, giggling away to himself. "Don't worry Betty, I won't tell anyone you gave me a little strip show this morning'. He teased.
"Oh shut up! I'll get you back" I laughed. I went to put the window down...
"Fancy walking to school together?" He asked.
"Sure, meet me outside in 20 minutes" I said and shut my window.
I quickly threw on some jeans, and long sleeved blue jumper (V neck). I put my my hair up in a ponytail and done a natural everyday make up look. I took out my phone took a selfie in the mirror and sent it to Todd.

I put my phone in my bag and headed downstairs.
"Morning Darling" Mom greeted me. "Morning Mom" I replied halfway out the door. "Elizabeth you must eat before school" her voice a little raised so I could hear her. "It's okay Mom" I said poking my head back round the front door "Archies waiting for me outside, I'm not that hungry... nerves and all. I'll catch a bite later love you" I continued rushing out the door. "You better i'll be messaging and checking up later, Good luck love you" she quickly responded.
I closed the door, and there he was.
"WOW BETTY" Archie said as he greeted me with a shocked look on his face.
"What? whats wrong?" I asked - confused.
"No nothing. Just weird to see you in clothes that's all" He laughed. I gave him a playful push and we began to walk.
"So you might as well give me the low down on the school then..." I said as I mentally prepared myself.
"Well, theres our group-"
Aw he said 'our' - he involved me.
"Me, you, Veronica who is my girlfriend, Kevin who will probably become your gay best friend, and Cheryl... who will probably become your enemy at some point" he laughed.
"Wow she sounds extra nice, make sure I meet her first' I said sarcastically.
"No, she's alright really. Every school has that one bitch. But she alright sometimes." He continued. "Then you've got the Bulldogs who are the jocks, the nerds, the music group, oh and the Southside Serpents."
"The what?" I asked?
"The Serpents. Probably the little you know.. the better. Just stay clear." Archie Explained.
And before we knew it, there we were. Standing outside Riverdale High.
A well dressed girl with black hair came running up to us! "You must be Betty!" She said holding her hand out. "Hi, yes!" I replied holding out mine too. "I'm Veronica, you can call me V".
Everyone seemed nice here, Well I haven't met that Cheryl or the Serpents yet, things could change I suppose. V became my tour guide around the School. Most of our classes were together so it was an easy first day. It was now mid day, and it was time for English Class. I walked in and the teacher greeted me. "Welcome, you must be my new student, please could you sit next to boy at the back and gestured to my seat at the back of the class. "You two will be partners".
I smiled and made my way to the back of the classroom. "New meat I see". A voice came from my left. I didn't reply. "It's not polite to ignore" He spoke again. "And it's not polite to call someone new meat'. I snapped. "I'll take a note of that baby" he said whilst smirking.
The class was taking a little long to begin, the teacher had to go off and speak to the principle. Don't know what about, heard people gossiping about this Jason person, Maybe it's something to do with that. As I waited for our teachers return I got my phone out to see if Todd Had replied.
08:00AM: Wow Bett! Looking beautiful!
"Looking beautiful" He teased, as he was looking at my phone.
"Urgh can you not read my messages." I snapped - Again.
"Who's that, your boyfriend?" the rude boy asked.
Betty: "Not that it's any of your business, but yes."
Boy: "Are you always this touchy?"
Betty: "Are you always this rude?"
The teacher came back in the room so I quickly put my phone back in my bag.
