A New Me

Once Upon a time

"Betty Cooper" I replied. 

"Miss Cooper would you care to repeat what I've just said?" The teacher spoke, angry that I wasn't listening...

"Erm- Well.. Erm-" I begun

"My fault Mr Miller, I was distracting her". Jughead interrupted.

"Don't let it happen again Mr Jones, you're already hanging on at this school by a thread." 

"Thank you" I whispered.

"Didn't do it for you, I'm the only one in this school that gets in trouble." He replied. I didn't know if he was joking or not. 

"So your assignment is to work with your partner to come up with a story about this town. Whether the information be true or false make it sound realistic. Use this lesson to discuss potential ideas, and brainstorm, it should be completed by the end of the week" Mr Miller explained.

"So, Any ideas?" I turned to my left.

"Don't care" he responded harshly.

"No Jughead. You're not screwing this up for me! I work really hard at school, and my fresh start does not mean failing my school year. So you better help me or-"

"Or what?" Jughead interrupted me. "Hope that isn't a threat Betty, would hate to meet that boyfriend of yours for the first time on bad terms"...

I gulped. Just in time, the bell went and the class was dismissed - Thankfully. 

Jughead's POV

Maybe that was a bit harsh, but I needed to put her in her place, I am the king after all. The bell went so I jumped up and headed out the classroom. My phone started to ring...

Me: Hey Dad

FP: Don't you dare hey dad me. This is the LAST phone call I am going to get from your school saying you are misbehaving or not listening. I swear If you don't get a good grade in this English exam so help you, you will be stripped of your Serpent jacket-

Me: DAD! You can't do that!

FP: Watch me! I am not going to let you ruin your education like I did son! This is your last warning.

He hung up. 'Fuck!' I said under my breath and kicked the trash can in anger.

Betty saw and quickly turned around to her locker pretending she didn't see.

"Come over tonight we can work on the Essay. Be there at 6 ask Archie where I live" and I walked off before she could reply, or turn back around for that matter.

I don't really know why I gave her such a hard time today, she is really hot too...

Betty's POV

Well, that was super weird. I spotted Archie.

"Hey, Hows your first day going?" he asked politely.

"Well, I was partnered up with the worlds worst person, plus I have to go round his tonight to come up with this essay. Apparently I have to ask you where he lives?"

"Sure, who is it?" He asked

"Jughead?" I said

"Oh Betty, Something I gotta tell you... He's a-"

"Betty where you been girl, there's a party this weekend, everyone's invited, you're so coming!" V spotted me and began to talk about this party. 

Me and Archie quickly exchanged numbers and he messaged me Jughead's address before V pulled me away.

"Be careful" he shouted as I walked away with V.
