*leahs pov*

It's the next day, and I'm not looking forward to going to work tomorrow. Don't get me wrong, I love my job, but sometimes I'm just not in the mood.

I got up surprisingly earlier than I usually do on weekends, but that's just because I have to go get my car from the shop.

I get dressed and ready, then I call an uber to take me to Starbucks first since I have a little bit of time before I have to get my car.

Once I got there, it surprisingly wasn't very packed. Just a few customers here and there. Plus it's a pretty big Starbucks.

"What can I get for you?" The barista asks. I get the same thing I always get, which is just a white mocha. I've never been one to get super complicated drinks.

"Leah Remini?" A worker calls out once my drink is done. I thank them, then I take my drink and go to sit down. But that's when I realize Jennifer is sitting at one of the booths. I smile for a second, then I notice she's with someone, some guy. Telling by her face, she looks sympathetic, I don't think they're having a happy conversation.

Suddenly the guy gets up, and starts to walk out of the the shop. I turn and do my own thing so he wouldn't think I was watching. Once he leaves, I look back at Jennifer and she's just rubbing her forehead.

I start to walk over to her, and eventually she looks up and notices me. "Hi stranger." I say and stop beside her table. "Leah? Hi. I thought I heard them call your name." She says and I smile a little.

"Mind if I sit?" I ask and she nods her head. I sit in front of her as she takes a sip of her drink. "So what are you doing here?" I ask. "Just getting coffee." She shrugs. "Who was the Mister?" I ask and she looks at me. "He's just a friend." She shrugs. "Mm. What're your plans for today?" I ask and sip my drink.

"Well, after meeting with my friend, I planned on just going back home." She sighs. "That's exciting." I say. "I know right?" She giggles. "What about you?" She asks. "I have to pick up my car from the shop in a little, then I was gonna go grocery shopping because I need to." I say and she giggles.

"How were you when you got home last night? The sleep in didn't drain you too much did it?" I ask. "Oh I was fine." She nods. "I wasn't seeing double anymore, if that's what you're asking." She giggles and so do I.

"How's your finger?" I ask, noticing a band aid on it. "Well, it's still here." She smiles and so do I. "It's fine. Thankyou for helping me." She says. "You're welcome." I nod.

"Well I should get going." I say and stand up from the booth. "Ok, well I'll see you on Tuesday." She says "Alright, bye." I smile and she does too.

It's the next day, and I'm back at work. I hate Mondays, and Devon doesn't make them any better. I wish Jennifer worked on monday's, but she only works 3 days a week, while me and Devon are here everyday.

"Did anything happen?" He asks me, following me around like a little puppy. "No! And it's none of your business. She gave me a ride home, why is that such a big deal?" I ask. "Because it is." He shrugs. "Your lil girl crush on her is showing." He says and I stop walking and turn to him.

"I'm gay- I don't have girl crushes. They're  just normal crushes." I say annoyed cuz he's dumb. "So you do have a crush on her! You admit it!" He says. "Shut up." I roll my eyes and continue to walk. "Go do something, leave me alone." I say and shoo him with my hand. He just giggles and walks away.

I go into my office, and sit at my desk. And I realize the picture of Jennifer in that dress is still on my desk. I pick it up and look at it. The dress really does flatter her. I wonder why she was struggling so much with getting a job in the first place, she's really sweet now that i've gotten to know her, plus she's gorgeous.

I go through my emails and get some stuff done before I get lunch in a little bit. I also try and come up with some new ideas for upcoming shoots.

Suddenly Devon busts in my office and plops a magazine on my desk, with a similar cover of our magazine from last year. "The hell is this?" I ask and pick it up. "We've been wrongly accused." He says, acting like he's in a damn drama movie-.

"Accused of what?" I ask.  "The creater of Air magazine is accusing us of copying their cover and shoots from last October." He says and points at the name of the magazine which reads 'Air' at the top.

"How-? This magazine came out on October 5th. Ours came out 3 months before that. They obviously copied us." I say. "Well Mathew Green says-." I cut him off. "Who?" I ask. "The creator of this magazine...said that we saw leaked photos, and we copied them." He explains. "That's bullshit." I shake my head, denying it.

"Besides, even if it was true, which it's not. It was a year ago. Why do they care about it now?" I ask. "Maybe they're just know finding out." He shrugs. "Or maybe they made up some dumb story just to start something. Or-...I bet we have better sales and reviews than them, so they're trying to start a rumor." I say pointing at him.

"That would be the only case that makes sense." He shrugs. "Well, I'm sure it won't effect us much." I sigh. "How'd you even find out about this?" I ask. "Well that Mathew guy made a post about it, and I saw an article about it on google since part of my job is to google our company everyday-." I cut him off. "There's  an article about it?!" I ask. "Yeah. 'Remini magazine confronted for copying and selling stolen covers.' That's what the title of the article said." He says. "Yeah I got that." I roll my eyes.

"This is so stupid." I shake my head. "What are we gonna do?" He asks. "Nothing." I shrug and he looks at me worried. "Do you know how many celebrities have been exposed and confronted for shit? But they're still around. Plus this is something we didn't even do. So we'll settle this like mature adults, and just ignore it." I say. "Mk." He sighs and watches me throw the magazine in the trash.

"Oh yeah, this was at the front desk for you." He says and hands me a letter. He sits at one of the chairs in front of my desk, and watches me open it. "What is it?" He asks. "Some people want to interview me." I say and continue to read it. "Why?" He asks and I look at him like he's dumb.

"Maybe for the fact that I made my own magazine company at the age of 23?" I suggest sarcastically. "Ya know what, that would make sense." He nods. "You're not still 23, are you?" He asks. "You literally came to my birthday party dumbass. I'm 24, you know that." I roll my eyes. "Jesus, I think the sleep in actually wiped some of my memory." He says seriously.

I look at him unamused and he just stares back. "Shut up." I say and continue to read the letter. "So when is it?" He asks, referring to the interview. "Looks like it's on Thursday.." I say while looking at the letter. "You know who works on Thursdays?" He asks. I look up at him and he's smirking. "Who?" I ask bluntly. "Jennifer." He grins. "And?" I say and get back to the letter.

"She'll be able to see you gettin your business woman stuff on." He says, barely making sense. I look at him and raise one brow. "Sometimes I think you smoke crack before coming to work." I say and put the letter down. "Shhh." He giggles and I can't help but giggle too.

"Are you gonna do the interview?" He asks. "Why not." I shrug and he nods. "I think it'll be good for the company." He agrees. "Yeah, plus I've never done an interview. Maybe I'll get like...famous or something." I say. "We've made dresses for the Grammy's. You technically are famous, just underground famous." He says and I just shrug.

I am excited for this, it's a good opportunity, and I've always wanted to do something like this. But the thing with Air magazine is making me stressed. I'll try not to worry about it since I know we didn't 'steal' or 'copy' anything. I'll just have to see how everything plays out.
