"Alright everyone, you're about to see the most prized possession in the Castle of lions," Coran said while walking everyone to a long white door. "Well, this and the kitchen that is," he chuckled at his own remark. "Me and (Y/N) have been working tirelessly to repair this room to the best of its capabilities, it may even be better than before!" I walked alongside Coran as everyone followed behind us,

"What is it?" Keith whispered into my ear, sending a tingling sensation down my spine. Instead of answering I pulled on a grin and ran in front of Coran to open the door.

"Welcome to the new and improved training deck!" I said as everyone began to enter, Shiro whistled at the large human-like robots that now stood in the middle of the room, seeing the new features that we added into the old gymnasium. Lance walked in, oblivious to all the new tech that surrounded him,

"It looks the same," he said, earning a slap on his head from Allura,

"Ah yes, it does from where we're standing, but if you look up there," Coran pointed to the edge of the tall ceiling behind us, showing a hidden mini-command room towering above us. Floating half-way from the ceiling, hidden out of sight.

"Woah, is that another room?" he asked rubbing the back of his head,

"On the contrary, it is a command center, designed to control all the features that you see here before you," he nodded his head at me, signaling for me to activate the first obstacle. I ran back through the hallway and up the stairs until I made it to the small room that everyone was looking at. I waved my hand through the glass and looked down at Coran putting two thumbs up while backing out of the room.

"Princess, paladins, I wish you good luck," He faked a tear in his eye as he continued, "Today is a solemn day...Our good heroes-"

"Coran, what is this about?" Allura asked impatiently,

"What you are about to face is the abomination of destruction and anarchy itself, designed to test and exceed your limitations. Invented to be unstoppable and ruthless just as its creator," he pointed towards me,

"Hey!" I said referring to his last sentence,

"Good luck to you all," he said while running out of the door. He joined me in the room as I began to talk into the speaker for everyone to hear,

"Alright everyone, this course is designed to test you, I designed it, so don't expect me to go easy on you," I saw the edges of Keith's lips turn up as he held his sword close to his chest. He was smiling wildly as I began to run the course's simulation, "And it starts...now!"

The two robots that stood in the middle of the room came to life as an innocent drone began swarming around, closing in on everyone,

"Level one, begin," a robotic voice echoed through the room, Coran bit his fingernails as he watched the beasts ferociously attacking their targets, running faster than the human eye could see, and striking furiously at every opponent.

The drone served as our only close-range camera, watching as we witnessed the battle down on the training deck.

Lance and Hunk took out their bayards, they were small devices given to paladins that could transform into any desired weapon. They quickly transformed their bayards into guns and began shooting at the beasts, not being able to keep up with their quick speed, and eventually shot at thin air.

"I can't see them!" yelled Lance still firing at the beasts, Pidge took out her bayard and transformed it into a small arrow that when shot, could deliver a massive punch. She shot it out to a random direction and accidentally injured Lance,

"Ow!"

"Sorry," she said wincing, she began to lock her eyes on one of the beasts as it circled around them, watching as they both kept returning to a specific point before attacking again. "That's it!" she yelled, "They keep returning to that point before striking at us, it's brief but it's our only shot,"
