The Long Way Home

Chapter 3 // surprise!

Calum's POV
After the tour was over, we planned to surprise Grace and meet her friend Tia.

We arrived at her house and knocked on the door. This was gonna be good.

A girl with deep brown eyes opened the door. She had medium length blonde hair, a crop top, black skinny jeans and bracelets from Hot Topic.

I could see Michael checking her out. Of course.

Her eyes were wide like Grace's were when she first saw us and I could tell she was a fan.

"I know you guys are here for Grace and that is super cute! I'm Zoë, Grace's friend. She's upstairs with Tia." She explained.

We all hugged one another and she asked Michael if she could call him "Clifforconda" which he agreed to. Usually he never lets anybody give him nicknames.

We all tiptoed up the stairs, which was kind hard because Zoë was on Michael's back and the stairs kept creaking.

We finally got to her door and could hear taking on the other side. On the count of three, we busted into her room yelling "ayee!"

Grace and her friend Tia were in the middle of painting their nails so when we scared them nail polish went flying everywhere all over her bed. (A/N: I paint my nails on my bed don't judge)

"Calum!" She said and ran over to me and gave me a hug. I hugged her back and all of the boys were giving me sexual looks. I can't believe I'm friends with a bunch of dorks.

After out little hug, we looked over at Tia and her mouth was dropped to the ground and she was staring at us, but mostly Luke. Luke was staring at her the same way.

She was very pretty too. Actually all of her friends were pretty. She had long blonde hair and piercing blue eyes, just like Luke's. She wore a 5SOS hoodie and black skinny jeans with converse on.

She stood up and brushed of non-existing dirt off of her lap to compose herself.

"Hi." She said quietly.

Luke's POV
Oh. My. God.

When we surprised Grace, all hugs were given and I was amazed at the girl standing in front of me. She was very beautiful. I loved her eyes, they stood out the most. I could tell she was shy, just like me. We stood there for a few seconds awkwardly staring at each other.

"So, how was the tour? I wanted to go to one of the shows but I couldn't make it." she started off.

I then started taking about how much fun we had and all of the funny moments that happened on tour.

Tia's POV
When the boys (and Zoë) came in and surprised us, I flipped out and tossed the nail polish in the air. It's not my fault, 5 Seconds Of fucking Summer just came into my best friends room!

When I asked Luke how the tour went, he dived into talking about the funny moments and how much fun they had. It was actually pretty cool to see someone (especially Luke fucking Hemmings) talk about their passion. I could tell we were going to get along.

We all then decided to go out to the movies together and have fun.

Grace's POV (at the theater):

We decided to watch the Spongebob Movie because we're nerds.

I sat between Calum and Zoë. Michael sat next to Zoë and Luke sat next to Tia who was next to Calum and Ashton was at the end. (AN: I'm sorry that probably made zero sense)

The movie was good even though Michael kept taking to Zoë and Luke kept taking Tia. And I kept catching Calum staring at me. Lil creep.
