A couple of days went past since we had been from New Orleans and the wedding 2 days away " Yo baby come here for a second please" when I walked downstairs I looked in the living  room " what's up babe?" he sighed " so My mom is coming over to help with the boys while we get stuff together for the wedding" I looked at him weird " well my mom and dad will be coming down here so they were going to help with them" he sighed " well mom wanted to spend some time with them I mean do you have a problem with my mama or something?" I looked at him shocked " what you mean do I have a problem with yo mama look don't start this bullshit with me for real" I walked back upstairs and changed into my white ruffle strap top and my Geometric print crop pants and my black red bottoms and I rolled a blunt. after I got done smoking I got Jaylen dressed and put him in his car seat and took him downstairs " where are you going?" I sighed and put on my glasses " to pick up my parents and go see Lex we will be back later Jayden is upstairs sleeping so yea" when I left I headed to the airport. 15 min later I pulled up to the airport my parents were standing outside " hello family" my mom smiled " hello sweetie" my dad hugged me " my sweet child is getting married" I whipped my face " uh yea" my mom smiled " I see you have one of my grandbabies where is the other one?" I sighed " at home with Marcus so can you guys drop me off at Lex house you guy's can take the car and Jaylen back to the house I'll get back home" she smiled " ok" when we got in the car we headed to Lex house. 15 min later we pulled up at Lex's house "ok I'll see you guys at the house". when I got out of the car I walked up to the door and knocked " come to the back Kim" when I walked to the back she was sitting on the porch drinking a cocktail " hello I hope you are ready for the rehearsal dinner tomorrow" she laughed " yes I am" when I sat down I sighed and took off my glasses " I need to talk to you" she sat up in her chair and looked at me concerned " what's wrong?" I sighed " I just feel like marrying him is not right at the moment I mean we have been arguing lately and he acts like he is going to hit me but don't" she stopped me " no oh hell no you can't marry someone like that" I dropped a tear " what about the boy's I didn't have kids to be a single mother" she sighed " you need to look out for you at the end of the day sis listen to talk to him tell him that you don't want to break up but you not ready to get married right now" I whipped my face "you're right, listen I got to go" when I got up I put my glasses on and left. 20 min later I pulled up at the house. when I walked into the house Marcus was sitting on the couch drinking a beer " Marcus can we talk?" I sat the beer down and whipped his mouth " yea what's up?" I sighed " I don't think we should get married right now" he looked up at me and stood up " what did you just say?" I cleared my throat " I said" before I knew it he slapped me across my face and I fell to the floor " If you ever say that shit again I will fucking kill you we are getting married and that is that" when I looked up at him I stood up and went upstairs. when I went into the bedroom I looked into the mirror and there was a big bruise on my cheek so I covered it up with some make-up. later that night I was holding the boy's and my mom came into the room " Hey sweetie what are you doing?" I sighed " nothing just got done feeding the boy's putting them to sleep" she took Jayden and sat down beside me " so before I and your father walked outside we heard you and Marcus arguing?" I sighed "um nothing we just disagreed about the cake" she sighed " oh ok well I'll take them you get some rest you got a big day tomorrow" when they left out the room I went to sleep. the next day I woke up and changed into my pink ruched dress and my pink strap heels and I did my hair on a side part bob lace front and I did my make-up to cover up the mark on my face. when I was standing in the bathroom mirror Marcus came into the bathroom " baby I'm so sorry I really am" I applied my lipstick and turned around " look it's ok just never do that again" when I walked out of the bathroom I walked to the boy's room " oh my god you guys are so handsome" mom smiled " say thank you, mama" I smiled " thanks mom for helping where is dad?" she smiled " finishing up getting the dress you look stunning you ready?" I smiled " uh yea the car will be around soon so let us get downstairs I'll grab Jayden while you finish getting Jaylen to dress" when I grabbed Jayden we went downstairs. when I walked downstairs there was a knock at the door " who is it?" when I opened the door it was a man in a suit " Ms. Reed I am Robert Tate I'm a detective down in chesterfield county and I wont to take you downtown for questioning" I laughed a little " do you have a warrant?" he pulled it out of his pocket " yes ma'am" I sighed " Mary" when she came out the kitchen she smiled " yes Kim?" I whispered, " take Jayden to my mother and tell Marcus to meet me at the police station downtown now don't speak a word of this to my mother" when I handed her Jayden I left. 15 min later we pulled up downtown " so Ms.Reed how long have you and Mr. Carter been together?" I sighed " 2 years why?" he sat up " Mr.Reed and you from what I have heard have been running drugs out through L.A. so" I laughed " I own a company and have twins why in the fuck would I be doing that?" he sighed " watch your language" I sighed and stood up " if you don't get no solid dirt on me don't show up to my home anymore" when I got up I grabbed my purse and left. when I walked out of the station Marcus was sitting outside. when I got in the car I looked at him " where are my parents and the kids?" he sighed " on the way to the venue what happened?" I looked at him " if you get me mixed up in the middle of your bullshit I swear to god" he grabbed me by my throat " or what?" I pushed his hand off me " let go before we are later then we are." 15 min later we pulled up to the venue " well about time you showed up this is about you guys" I sighed " sorry mother now let's get begin" after the rehearsal dinner I was about to get in the limo and Marcus stopped me " hey Kim since tomorrow the big day I'm going to stay at Mikes place" I sighed " ok" when I got in the car we went home. 20 min later we pulled up at the house. when we all got in I sat the boy's in their highchairs and I sat on the couch and lite a blunt " hey sweetie are you ok?" I sighed and cleared my throat " uh yea mom I'm fine just a little stressed" she sat next to me " what's wrong hun?" I sighed " between this wedding and the company I'm so drained out" she laughed " oh god I know when I married your father  I was pregnant with Ace and I had you all the get-together and myself it was hard with no help but you baby have helped so use us" I smiled " thanks mom" when she got up I finished my blunt and went to sleep. the next day I woke up and I rolled me a blunt. when was sitting on the end of my bed smoking my mom walked in " sweetie are you ready to go to the church so we can get your hair done and make-up?" I sighed "yes is my dress already there?" she smiled " yes and your father has gotten the kids dressed and down to the church as well" I smiled " thanks mom" when I got up I changed into my white double zip jacket and my white mini skirt and my black and white vans. when I walked downstairs Lex walked through the door " hello hello who is ready to get married?" I smiled "I let go" when we got in the car we left. 20 min later we pulled up to the church " about time let's get you beat for the gods" when we went into the dressing room I got my make-up done and the lady did me a nice bun. when I threw on my mermaid heart neck wedding dress and my heels and I turned around " what do you guys think" my mom dropped a tear " you look stunning sweetie now let's get you married. when I walked out of the room my father was waiting on me " you sure you wanna do this baby?" I sighed " yea" when I grabbed his hand we walked to the alter. when I got there he handed me over to Marcus and we got married.
