From nothing to something

Chapter 1:

" Kim are you ready" I looked in the mirror and fixed my hair " yea" when I walked out of my room my friend Lex was sitting in my Livingroom " damn girl you look beautiful" I laughed " thank so where are we going?" she laughed " to this party you need to get out you haven't been out since you got back to Atlanta" I sighed " fine" when we left we got in Lex car. 20 min later we pulled up to this house it was a bunch of people " damn its lit" when we got out of the car we went into the house  " hey Lex who is this?" she laughed " this is my friend Kim she just moved back to the A" he was tall brown skin with waves and hazel eyes " Kim this is Marcus Kim" he shocks my hand " nice to meet you this is my house welcome" I smiled " Thanks for having me." when I had a few drinks I turned up. after the party, I went home and went to sleep. the next day I woke up with a badass headache but I had to go to work so I got up and put on my black fitted dress with my black long silk coat and my black heels and I put on my silk back wet and wavy lace laid that hoe down and put my black heels on. when I got done getting dressed I rolled up a blunt and smoked. when I when downstairs there was a  knock at the door " who is it" when I opened the door it was a man holding a bunch of flowers " HI Ms. Kimberly reed these are from you" I smiled " thank you who are they from?" he smiled "I can't disclose that information but have a great day" when he walked away I closed the door and sat the flowers on the table. when I finished my blunt Lex walked in " knock-knock damn girl you smoked without me?" I laughed " well good morning to you to so someone sent me these beautiful flowers this morning I wonder who they came from" she laughed "I can't keep a secret from you so Marcus he sent you these he really likes you and he said he had a great time with you last night he is going to pop up at your office today to ask you to lunch" I started to blush " girl he is so fine I knew it so are you ready?" she laughed " yea " so when we left we went to work. 20 min later we pulled up to the office, I work for the biggest social media company in the world i love my job " good morning Ms. Reed here is all your messages your mother called i think you should call her back asap" i sighed " ok" when i got to my office " i called my mother " Hi mom" she sighed " well hello daughter how are you?" i sighed " fine busy as ever trying to come up with a hype for this new app we got coming out" she sighed " well you know i want you and your brothers and sisters to come together for dinner since your father is ill"i sighed " um ok mom will get the first flight out soon as possible" she clapped her hands " ok baby get back to work bye" when she hung up i called my asistant in my office " Sarah clear my calander i got a family Emergancy". later that day i was finishing up some files and Marcus walked into my office he looked so good and he smelled wonderful " hello Ms.Reed" i laughed " that's my mother call me Kim" he licked his lips " Ok Kim I was wondering if you would like to go out the luch with me?" i smiled " I would love to"  when i got up I grabbed my coat and we left. 15 min later we pulled up to Olive garden " table for 2 please" when we sat down i put my napkin in my lap  " so Marcus tell me about yourself" he smiled " so I'm 26 my father passed away so took over our family company J&D i don't have any kids and I'm single" I licked my lips " that's good well I'm 27  I run  midtown social media company i have no kids and single" he smiled " so where are you from" i sipped my wine "North Philly the hood" he laughed " i was born and raised here but what made you move here?"  i sighed " i had to get away from the ghetto that wasn't what i wanted for my life and i couldn't build a family there" he licked his lips " so you want a family?' i smiled " yes about three kids a husband a dog maybe" he ate his chicken " you are a beautiful woman and i like your style and i want to see where this can go" i licked my lips " well i like your style to and i would love to see that as well" after lunch i went back to work. when I walked into my office Lex was sitting there waiting on me " so how was it" I laughed " it was great he is so perfect girl you picked me a good one" she laughed " your welcome so I seen you cleared yo Calendar what's wrong?" I sighed " my dad isn't doing good and my mom wants me and my Siblings to come together for dinner and stuff for him since he is on his death bed" she gave me a hug " I'm sorry" after work I went home. 20 min later I pulled up at home. when I walked into the house I changed into my night clothes and started packing my stuff. when I got done packing I rolled a blunt and poured myself a glass of wine. when I lit the blunt there was a knock at the door " who is it?" when I opened the door it was Marcus " what's up" I smiled " uhh hey what's up?" he smelled the air " is that some pressure?" I laughed " yea you wanna smoke?" he licked his lips " yea but I also came over because I wanted to try to make this dish and I didn't want to eat alone tonight" I blushed " and he cooks" when he came in I closed the door and went to set on the couch " what's the bags for?" I sighed and passed the blunt " well I'm going to see my parents for the weekend but I'm leaving out in the morning" he sighed " well I cant wait till you come back" I laughed " why?" he passed the blunt to me and blew the smoke in my face " because you sexy" I licked my lips and fixed my hair " you need to go make dinner because you trying to start something you not gonna be able to finish in real life" he walked away and went to the kitchen. after he got done cooking we sat down to eat " this is so good Marcus" he smiled " thanks and I forgot to tell you that you got a nice crib" I laughed " thanks" he looked at me and got up " you got something on your mouth" when he walked over to me he kissed me so softly " wow umm ok that just happened" he laughed "I got to be at work early so ill clean up and stuff" after dinner, he cleaned up and left.
