Beauty and The Beast: Unforgotten Love Part 1 (requested by I_Yuzukii_I)

*Author's Note: In this remake of the classic story on Beauty and the Beast, shows a different side of the tale. Specifically, how close Adam and Belle's relationship was like through their mothers. What if: Belle and the Beast knew each other during their childhood before fate had cursed them to forgot and remove their undying love for each other. I hope you all enjoy. 🥰

Chapter 1:

Long ago, in a beautiful castle from a small world of France, lived a young 8 year old boy, whose quiet royal life, was about to change when his mother and her maidan in waiting introduced him to his lovely soon to be princess.

A 5 year old little girl named Belle.

Whose heart was as big as gold.

And eyes that have shone out like a starlight.

With her everlasting beauty as enchanting as a single red rose in a garden.

The two were instantly close at a moment's notice and played together during a small period of their childhood.

Until one day, when something unexpected happened and then their lives were never the same, again.

The black plague.

An unfortunate pandemic disease that has taken hold of the world through misfortunes and bad luck which fell ill upon the people of this town.

Including the Queen and her maiden in waiting, Belle's mother.

Luckily for them, their children were safe in other hands at the time of the spreading.

Mrs. Potts, by duty, was able to isolate Adam away from the sickness on the other wing of the castle.

While Belle was simply whisked away by her father Maurice.

Afterwards the two women decided to keep each other company and watch each other live out the rest of their days.

But before they can take their final breaths in peace, an enchantress had visited the grounds of the palace in search of needed resources.

Since the plague was filled drastically with poverty and had asked the king for help.

But when she was refused by the majesty himself in a harsh way, her heart grew cold from his selfish demeanor and sets a curse on him that will affect the entire family.

Until she suddenly felt the soft beating hearts of the four innocents in the castle and instead, offered the youths' love in the shape of a beautiful rose of as an exchange of the boy's beastly form at the age of 18 while the rest of the royal staff becomes household furniture or objects.

To which shall be genuinely restored back to normal if the two are meant to love one another without the judgement of appearances by their upcoming birthdays of ages 21 and 18.

Otherwise, they will lose memories of each other forever.

So, with that being said, the two mothers passed away with hope and reassurance that one day, their children will find each other again when the time was right.

And the last rose petal has fallen down from its stem.

Chapter 2:

12 years later from now.

When the black plague was long gone from the measly French town.

And the people are now adjusting really well to the new era in their lives.
