Legend of the 3 caballeros: all for one (requested by: determine89)

*Authors note: In this 'What if', it will be a crossover between the 3 caballeros and the musketeers where both are in the same era of time. What if: Donald ran off after the intuition of becoming a Royal musketeer and meets his caballero friends within the same city, who will help guide him in his pursuit of finding out who his true purpose is. I hope you guys enjoy this cute oneshot that will also be a future couples' tale for the requester as well. 😄

Chapter 1:

In the land of 17th century France, where all royals and commoners alike are clashed between the ending culture times of the renaissance era and the new beginnings of early modern period, sets a tale about new discoveries and daring adventures that are awaiting ahead for our heroes.

Now before we get to the story, you're probably thinking in your mind....hmm.

This all seems to be interesting and everything but I have to ask, who are you exactly?

Well...to answer your question, I must tell you a little bit about myself.

My name is Troubadour, the very wise and sophisticated turtle, who is about to tell you a dazzling tale of two legends in one story.

Okay, you say.

But....why two?

You may ask once more.

Well...I shall hint that in order for you to find out, you'll just have to listen.

Now then, where shall I begin?

Oh yes, it had all started with 3 young orphan boys who were working at an underground basement of the Royal Guard washroom.

Dreaming away.....

With one little thought at a time.

Chapter 2:

Of course, this is where you would tell yourself, oh yes I remember that part. 

This is where Mickey, Donald and Goofy are going to ask Captain Pete for a chance at becoming musketeers, right?

Okay, but what if they didn't?

Huh?!

You sound out, with your heads scratching in confusion.

Rest assure wonderful good morrows.

This is just a small twist in a classic tale is all.

So in quickened times notice to your impatient wondering minds, I'll now resume.

"Oh boy, we're going to be musketeers someday right?" Mickey asked with a bright smile, whose dream was bigger and more confident, with his golden heart in tact and prepared for anything.

While his other two friends on the hand, had different thoughts in mind.

"Oh, I don't know." Donald said in a mumble, unsure that this dream with even be a reality.

For as long as he can remember, he had always played along for the sake of their friendship.

Even if he knew it would be much too difficult to keep up with.

Until now, when he realized that his life hadn't really change much for the better and desperately needed a different direction.

But ole optimistic Mickey continues to remind him none of the sort.
