How did she get here exactly, Jennette really didn't know. Except she does!!.

Straight after the banquet a pair of knights had escorted herself and amelia into the throne room were the emperor hand sat himself upon his throne.

He was not really dressed formally at all, he still had his long blond hair in a plait. And he wore a robe that was not really the same as Claude's but seemed like it was apart of a hanfu. It was opened just a bit to expose some of his chest.

Beside him stood the same knight that amelia had seemed to know.

Amelia bowed as they stood before the emperor, causing strands of her dark brown hair to fall over her shoulder. "Amelia, it's been a while" the emperor said as he leaned his head onto his hand.

"It's has" Amelia responded calmly, coming back up from her bow to meet eyes with the emperor.

"If I may ask,," Amelia paused for a moment "what is it that you have requested us here for " she asked.

The emperors expression was hard to read, he blinks slowly and hummed. "Too inform you that I will be taking in Jennette starting today" he said.

his lips curved up slightly, not enough to be considered a smile but it managed to make him look just a little smug.

Amelia's eyes widened, she was silent as she processed what he had said. Her jaw hardened as if she was clenching her teeth and grinded them just a little.

There really wasn't anything that Amelia could do to stop the emperor from taking Jennette into his care.

She sighed and bowed her head "yes of course. I shall let lady Sarah and the head maid know of these changes".

Meanwhile while all that was happening Jennette nibbled at her lip. Anxiety beginning to come over her as she thought back to the novel of this world. The whole thing now just made her feel even more anxious then she would have liked.

Jennette looked up at Amelia with wide eyes and then at the emperor who had directed his little smug smile at her.

She played around with her fingers and zoned out as the adults continued to talk.

"Jennette" Amelia's voice pulled her out of thought, she looked up as amelia squated down to her height and grabbed her hands.

"You will be staying with his highness from now on, it would be good if you could come to say goodbye to everyone. But it's been decided that it would be better if you could get used to the castle" amelia explained.

Jennette nodded 'please don't tell me your leaving' she thought. "I'll be leaving to inform your aunt and Nana of these changes and I'll be back to be here as your caretaker by tomorrow."

'oh no'

"Nastu, take her to her room" the emperor said "I have things to do at the moment" the emperor said.

"Yes, your highness" the knight with the blue hair walked over to Jennette and Bowed "it is an honour to meet you my lady" he said, Jennette smiled and bowed as well "a-and to you too, s-sir knight" she stuttered out.

The knight smiled softly and gestured for her to walk with him, she saw him glance back at Amelia's retreating form and she began to do the same before turning back around to face forward.

A few minutes later of walking down the castles long hallway they finally made it to Jennette's new room.

The knight,,,Nastu opened up the door to the bedroom for her and moved to give her space to go in.
