Second Chance

The markets bustled with sound and many people walked the streets going from market to market. Jennette held onto the hem on Amelia's dress as they walked through the crowded area.

Jennette had only ever been to the markets about three to four times in her life.... Lives?, But it still managed to amaze her at all the new things and stuff that come from places all around the word.

Her jewelled eyes wide in astonishment as they walked, but she seemed to have been catching the attention of many of the locals in the area.

Some would glance and keep glancing back while others would full on stare at her, and sometimes she would hear the occasional whispers here and there.

'oh right, I have all the features of the royal family. It's no wonder they would be interested'  Jennette clutched tighter onto Amelia, the stares were really starting to make her feel a bit uncomfortable.

Amelia however took notice of this and led them to a market that sold cloaks.

Jennettes head faced down the entire time as she Twiddled with her fingers, she did not want to make eye contact with the stranger due to not wanting to draw attention to her eyes.

Though her hair must have already seemed a bit odd to them.

"Yes, Thankyou very much" Amelia said as she finished the conversation with the man and handed over a few gold coins to him before turning to Jennette and squatted down to the child's height.

She put the white Cloak on Jennette's shouldes as she tied the two strings together and put the hood over her head "better?" Amelia asked.

Jennette nodded her head "ah! Yes Thankyou" she smiled as she looked up at Amelia "good, now let's go and search for some new books and paints, I know how much you love those pastel water paints" Amelia said more to herself then Jennette.

Blue jewelled eyes scanned her surroundings until they came to a stop a few minutes later at a jewelry stand.

Amelia walked over to look at something that probably caught her attention while Jennette walked over to were all the bracelets were.

Jennette picked up a silver bracelet that had nothing but a little silver snowflake attached to it.

"That one's very pretty" Jennette turned to look up the owner of the mysterious voice to see and man who also wore a Cloke, she could not see any of his features however the only thing she could take not of was that the male wore an unusual ring.

And what she ment by unusual was that it looked very similar to her ring that she had in her past life.

Jennette quickly casted her eyes away from the ring and back up at the man, she hummed in agreement "mm, it is very pretty" blushed spread across her face as she smiled.

The hood on Jennette's head began to slip just a bit to reveal her white hair. Her bangs were styled to be split in the middle and revealed the small star gem that sat on her forehead.

If the man was surprised he did not show it at all as he continued to talk "that bracelet actually came from sodiana".

'ah, sodiana? That's were Anthia lives' Jennette pursed her lips "sodiana? I heard that's not that far from here is it mister?" She asked. Trying to seem as curious as possible.

The man hummed "it is, why don't you keep it. I'm a friend of the owner here" he said using his hand to push Jennettes hand that she was using to hold the bracelet to her chest.

"Jennette!" Called out Amelia's voice from behind her, Jennette turned her head to see Amelia nodding her head in a way that was telling her that they were leaving.

She turned her head back around to thank the man but stop mid sentence when the man was nowhere to be seen.

Her head glanced around a few times as she walked over to Amelia and adjusted her hood to sit it back on her head.

"Come on, were finished shopping for today" Amelia began walking as Jennette grabbed back into the hem of her dress.

Jennette took one last look at were she had been talking to the man wondering if she would be able to get a glimpse of him. But had no luck in doing so.
