It was a GREAT evening! Elliott taught both me and Grant new ways to do math, which was very helpful. After that, we had a few hours since Dad changed my curfew to 8:00. So we went to go see some cheesey love story, which was really funny. Then we went to the mall and got Chinese food and Dairy Queen. We went and looked in Nike, Forever 21 (I forced them into there), some As Seen on TV shop, and last of all Macy's, just because everyone loves that store. I bought one of those magical slushie makers, a top from Forever 21, and some Nike socks.
I yawned softly as we exited the mall, "That was great." I checked my watch. I was close to 7:30. "We should get home soon." I climbed into the back of the car with Grant while Elliott sat in the front.
"One more stop?" Elliott said pulling up to Monkey Joe's. Okay, just in case none of you know what Monkey Joe's is. It's a indoor bounce house place. Getting back to the story....
Grant and I started laughing, "What are we doing here?" I sayed through laughs.
I could see the laughter in Elliott's hazel eyes, "Can't teens have fun?"
We spent an intire 45 minutes jumping up and down and sliding down inflateable slides. At one point I shoved Grant from the top of one. That's when we were yelled at by some fat lady wearing one of the bright yellow employee shirts. After that, we deicded to go home.
"You guys want to come in for a snack or something?" I asked as the car stopped.
Grant shrugged, "Let me call my mom." he pulled out his phone and dialed a number, "Mom? Yea, hi. I was wondering if I could hang out with Yale and Elliott for a bit more?" I heard the scratchy voice but I couldn't make out what she was saying, "Thanks, Mom, love you too, bye." he touched the hang up button, "I'm aloud to stay till 10:00."
"Sweet." we fist bumpped then climbed out from the car, "You coming, Elliott?"
He nodded, "Let me go find somewhere to park." he drove off.
I bounced up the brick steps with Grant trailing behind me. I gently opened the door revieling my dad and mom sitting in the mud room. I could tell they weren't happy, "We said 8:00...." Dad started but cut off the sentence when he saw Grant. He stook out his hand to him, "I'm Mr. Blue. Who are you, young man?"
Grant shook his hand firmly, "Grant Ray, sir."
My dad laughed easing the mood, "Nice to finally meet you, Grant. I have heard multiple different things about you. Don't worry, all good." Dad winked at me, making my cheeks turn bright pink.
My mom stood up, "Mrs. Connie Blu." she shook Grant's hand, "Is Elliott coming?" Mom asked.
I nodded, "He should've been here already...." I trailed off when I heard a loud crash and women screaming. I ran out of the door to find a horrific seen infront of me. There was a car, upside down, back smashed..... It's Elliott's.
