A/N : hi there ! so this is my first fan fiction on wattpad well kind of . anyways I'm not sure what to write but yeah ... so here goes nothing . :) xx

Kathryn's. POV

"Kate !" my mom shouted from downstairs she always wakes me up early in the morning to do chores ugh .

"Kathryn Owen ! you come down here at once ! " Oh did I mention that she's really ... well she can be really .. um well you'll see afterwards. I rolled of my bed and brushed my teeth . I washed my face and let the cold water wake me up .

"Kathryn ! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING UP THERE ! " ugh ..... I went downstairs and saw my moms usual reaction when I'm late . "you know an old woman can be faster than you ! " she said . " Are you deaf ! couldn't you here me calling you ?! " she screamed . " I just woke up " I said without looking at her .

"Whats so interesting about the floor ? LOOK AT ME WHEN YOUR TALKING TO ME ! " she slapped me . I didn't look at her I refused to . she slapped we once more . but this time harder . I didn't let a tear fall coz that'll show how weak I am and believe me , infront of my mom you do not want to be weak .

"now pick up this stuff and make breakfast . your gonna make chicken soup and don't forget the carrots ! your brother is sick and he wants carrots . " my mom oderd me to do . my annoying brother doesn't eat vegies why the heck does he want carrots . ugh . " but Oliver hates vegies " .

" How dare you talk back to me ! " she slapped me again . I went to the fridge and searched for carrots . oh lucky me there's no carrots .

I wet upstairs and knocked on my moms bedroom door .

" Come in "

" um there's no carrots "

" oh it's you . well go buy some what do you think I am , your servant ? and buy yourself stuff for college . your too pathetic for me to buy stuff for so go away NOW ! "

I closed the doors and ughhhhhh . well my mom can be abusive in words and what not . if you ask me I can't wait for college . my mom only cares about my other siblings because I was a mistake . yep I don't even know who's my biological father is . I don't even have one of those high Tec phones and what not . I'm not even sure what the whole world is up to .

so I reached the mall and went to the grocery store . I have no idea why there are hundreds of girls crowded in the mall jumping around . so there was only ONE bag of carrots and so I reached for it but I saw someone infront of me reaching for it and I know if I don't get the carrots who'll know what my mom will do to me . so I went for it . I fell down and didn't get the carrots and well right now I'm just scared what'll happen to me when I get back with no carrots. "UGH" I sighed .

it's a fcking grocery store with no carrots ! I mean logicaly a grocery store would have a massive bunches filled with these orange vegetable . Then I saw a man well boy urr teenager I guess . he's in stripes and he holding well a Massive bunch of carrots . ugh what a carrot hogger .

I went outside to buy my college stuff . if you know me I'm a plain type of gal so I went to the big sweatshirts corner . I saw the one with stripes and it reminded me about the boy carrot hogger earlier . his dark sea blue orbs looking straight into my boring greenish blue ones when I fell . his tight striped shirt that shows off he's packs . his pitiful smile when he saw me fall . ugh what am I thinking . a guy like that would never like a girl like me . Heck why am even I thinking about it . it's useless .

I saw a grey sweatshirt with large purple stripes . I kinda liked it . but it was too high up . I tried to reach for it but it was useless . I tipie toed as high as I could until I felt someone reached for it . I almost lost my balance but the guy held my shoulders so I had my balance .

"uh thanks"

"no problem , um are you the girl in the grocery store "

"yeah ... and you must be the carrot hogger " I mumbled the last part .

"what was that , oh yeah I saw you looking quite sad when you didn't get the carrots . it was like your life depended on it .. " he chuckled at the last part .

"uh erm it kinda is ." I said quietly . I was always quiet when talking to strangers .

"well here you go " he handed me a bag of carrots

"oh thank you . you know you don't have to , how much was it I should pay you "

"uh no you don't have too . it's my treat :) Btw I'm Louis . Louis Tomlinson "

"oh then Louis how much was it ? " I took out my purse .

" No ! I'm not telling . if u want to pay me you'll have to catch me " and with that he ran off .

"ugh" I ran after him and he was no where to be found . I stumble on my foot and fell . I was waiting for the impact but then a pair of strong arms wrapped around me . I opened my eyes to see Louis' face very close to mine . his dark blue orbs staring in my greenish blue ones . I took this chance to observe his face . from his eyes I looked down and stopped at his lips . it looks pink and warm , very soft . I had an urge to kiss them but o never been kissed before so yeah . I went back to his eyes and he was staring at my lips . I felt butterflies fluttering I'm my stomach . ugh what the hell . his eyes flicked up to mine . I blushed crimson red .

"uh" I said and he let go off me . To be honest I was sad that he let go of me . I felt cold .

"um well I'll best be going now . um I didn't catch your name . " he asked expectingly .

"Kathryn , Kathryn Owen " I smiled

"well it was a pleasure meeting you Miss Owen" he spoke like the olden times and bow down .

I couldn't help but to let out a small chuckle .

"you know you have the most beautiful laugh " he said looking straight into my eyes .

"uh" I was speechless. no one has ever given me a compliment before.

"ugh I said that out loud didn't I " he muttered. "well Kate it's true you know . here's my number . call me if you'll except me as a friend , please " he smiled . his eyes sparkling

" um okay . I guess . how do you know my nickname ? " I asked

"I didn't I just simply called you that " he winked

I felt butterflies fluttering in my stomach . I felt a blush turning to my cheek . I forgot what was happening . he went with out a goodbye . I can't think straight right now .

so yeah comment and tell me what they should do . hahaha I'm figuring out a name to combine Louis and Kathryn maybe Louryn ? no that's stupid hahaha . okay. love you my Snowflakes .
