Chapter 14

Daniels POV
I woke up in the middle of the night because I was uncomfortable on the single sofa and saw Mai and Beau kissing. I didn't know what to think, I thought maybe they were maybe had a thing going on but Beau has only know her for like a month or two. But I liked her because she just reminds me of the fans we meet, they are all so excited and happy when they see us and Mai is always happy to see us.

Mais POV
Everyone was asleep and Beau had his arms round me. I didn't know why but I had the urge to cut. My arm became very itchy and I couldn't stop scratching my wrist. I got out of Beaus grip without waking him up fortunately, I put my shoes on and left the house. The sun was just starting to rise, the air was cool and fresh. As I walked home the morning sky relaxed me, I felt like I was glowing, I opened the door and I suddenly felt the glow disappear and I suddenly felt gloomy again. I quietly ran up the stairs and in to the bathroom. I rummaged through the cabin and found a new shaver, still in it's package. I quickly took it out of it's package and broke it apart. I held the blade against my wrist and started making quick motion cuts. I watched as the thick red substance poured out.

"Mai?" I heard someone say, I looked up at the door and it was Beau.
My body froze and I was shocked to see him staring at my arms, not a single word came out of his mouth but he quickly got some tissue and put it on my arm. He threw away the blade and stood me up. We walked to my room, his hand still holding the tissue on my wrist.

We sat down on my bed. Still no words came from his mouth.
I finally spoke up "Why are you here?" I asked looking down at his big hands holding my wrist
He took a deep breath "I heard you just walk out, I was worried and I followed you home"
"But why?"
"Well I just wanted to make sure you were safe and wanted to know where you were going at this hour of the day"

It was silent for a few moments, I didn't know what to respond with
"Why do you do this to yourself?" He asked breaking the silence
"My dad"
"Oh, what did he do?"
"Everything, he wasn't the greatest dad, he was the complete opposite. He would beat me and my family. He called us all the horrible names you could thing of. That's why my mum wanted to move out here away from him"
As Beau took all my words in and thought what to say
"Well he's not here now to hurt you anymore, he's in a completely different country"
"Yes I know but I didn't cut because of him this time"
"Then why did you do this today?" Beau asked as he started at the floor
"Well because of Max."
"What about him?" Beau asked shooting his up and facing me
"Well ever since he sent me that text saying he wasn't coming, I've been really depressed and upset since then. Yes of course you and the boys have made me happy but when I'm not with you guys I just turn depressed again"

Beau didn't reply but then a moment later he suddenly wrapped his muscled arms around me and pulled me in to his chest and hugged me so tightly

"I promise to keep you happy for every second of the day" Beau said leaning his chin on top of my head
His words just made me feel safe, I smiled and hugged him back even harder and I even cried a few tears

"Come on let's go to sleep" Beau said getting himself comfy in my bed and patting the space next to him
I climbed in bed next to him. He hooked his hands round my waist and pulled me in really close so we were spooning.
His warm breath upon my next sent me off to sleep very quickly
His presence just made me feel safe.

Ea POV
I woke up the next morning with Jai next to me. I looked around the room and saw that Beau and Mai weren't here. Daniel flickered his eyes open and stretched his arms.

"Morning Daniel"
"Morning"
"Do you know where Mai and Beau went off to?" I asked getting off the sofa
"No but I did see them two kissing last night, maybe they're in Beaus room"
"Oh my god really?" I said my mouth wide open
"Yeah I thought maybe they have a thing going on but who knows it's Beau"
I giggled a little at his comment "Well I'm gonna go check his room, um which one is his room?"
"It's the room with all the mirrors around the room"
"Okay thanks"
As I walked up the semi-spiral stairs and in to Beaus room, I saw that no one was in there. The only thing I could see was a teenage boys messy room.
I went back downstairs Jai and Luke were still sleeping either on the floor or the sofa.
"I'm gonna leave now, I'll round Mai's see if she is there" I said to Daniel
"Okay" Daniel got up and hugged me goodbye

As I walked outside a big blow of cool air hit me, it was so refreshing.
I end up not going to Mais house and just went straight home because I wasn't really to worried about Mais location.
I messaged her asking where she was, she basically instantly replied saying she was at home with Beau.

Beau POV
I woke up tried as fuck but I need to get up. I lightly shook Mai awake
She turned towards me and rubbed her eyes and yawned.
"Hey wanna go somewhere?" I asked as she slowly got up
"Yeah, where?" She replied in a tired voice
"I wanna go get another tattoo"
She nodded and slowly walked out of the room. I followed her up the stairs and into her room. I sat on her bed and watched as she got ready. She applied little makeup and I turned around as she got dressed.
We got out the house and went to a tattoo place I got to most of the time.
I walked through the door and let Mai go in first. As the door chimes rang Romeo came over

"Hey alright Beau" Romeo said giving me a hand shake and pulling me in for a hug.
"Yeah man I'm good" I replied "I just wanna get a top up on my sleeve"
"Yeah that's no problem what have u got in mind?"
"Um well I thought I could get something geometric in the blank gaps"
"Yeah man that's no problem" as Romeo went to get his equipment I saw Mai sitting on the sofa looking through the tattoo catalog

"Hey Mai you thinking of getting a tattoo" I yelled over to her
She looked over to me and nodded with a smile
"Come over here I wanna look through the book with you" I said waving my arm signalling her to come over
She walked over still looking down at the book
"I really like this one" she said pointing to a little cloud
"Why?" I asked looking up from the book to her cute little face
"I dunno I guess it makes me feel like if someone tries to drag you down, your already above them, so float as high as the clouds and you will be fine"
She looked at me and giggle "I know it's stupid"
"No it's not, well if you love it so much get it"
"I will one day" she said closing the book and putting it down

As Romeo came back with the tattoo gun, I took hold of Mai's hand
Romeo looked at our hands and smiled
Romeo got started and afterwards I payed him and left
I took a picture of my new tattoo and posted it on snapchat with the caption
"some fresh ink"
"We have to make you a twitter account" I said to Mai as she looked up from the ground
"Okay"
. . .
"Hey I saw you got some fresh ink, let's see" Jai said as we entered the house
I showed it to the boys and Jai lightly slapped it, normally it wouldn't hurt but it hurt because I just had fresh ink
After talking to the boys for a bit I forgot where Mai went. I walked up the stairs in to my room, the room was pitch black but I was able to see a body in my bed. I assumed it was Mai, I climbed in bed next to her.
