Chapter 1

Mai , 17. Black hair with brown, blonde, straight, wavy ends. Hair that just touches her hips. Chocolate brown eyes.

I live with my mum Emily 42 has black hair that just touches her shoulders and dark brown eyes, 5.7ft, dad Patrick 45 short dirty blonde hair, brown eyes, 5.9ft, brother Louis 14 short brown hair, brown eyes,4.9ft, quite good looking and my sister Hazel 5 long black hair which is half-way down her back, small and cute.

I was always closed to my family except my dad, he was an alcoholic and was physically abusing us all for the past couple of months. I would always go to school and be asked "how did you get that cut on your lip" I would always say my cat was just being a bit rough, this all lead to me being depressed and cutting. We live in the U.K, Kent on a peaceful street, where everything was quite and hardly any cars driving past.

Chapter 1 part 2

I closed my eyes just to see the worst happen a fat, hairy hand swing across my own mothers face. She fell to the floor and cried for mercy, as me and my sister watched our mum get beaten by our dad. I hate the fact that he's my dad, that I'm part of him. I'm so glad that I'm nothing like him.

As my 'dad' walked out the room me and my sister quickly ran to our mum and hugged her, whilst I whispering "I love you, I hope that he will one day stop and relise that he's an idiot". We broke our hug and mum smiled at us.

I ran to my room and locked my door. I rumaged threw my draw looking for something I wish I never started doing. I saw it a shiny, silver blade. I sat on my bed and held it to my wrist and started cutting, everytime I put more and more pressure in each cut. The sight of the red, thick blood made me feel at ease. I flung my head back to lean on the head board. My body just felt relaxed and like all my troubles and feelings were leaking out of my cuts leaving my body empty.
