♥️Jungkook's POV♥️

My steps took me to the only place I currently was feeling like being. While sitting down the sofa waiting, my hands were massaging my tensed temples. Luckily, I didn't have to wait for too long, as the person I needed to see came fast enough in my sight. I stood up right away.

" Jungkook? What are you doing here? " The older questioned me, eyeing the wall's watch right by the door's frame.

" I needed to see you. " I simply replied, afraid he'd be occupied.

" Did we have an appointment? " He asked me with wimpled eyebrows.

" No, we didn't. " I shook my head. " Could I talk to you, please? " I almost begged. " I- I know that you have to leave s- " He interrupted me.

" Come on in. " He invited me into his office, leaving me astonished.

Entering the very known office, I sat down the chair.

" What brings you here, Jungkook? Is everything alright? " Hyung asked me, worry covering his face.

" Yes. " I replied sillily and he quirked his eyebrows. " No. " I shook my head.

" That's more like it. Now, go ahead and tell me what happened. " Jin smiled shortly, motioning me to talk with a gesture of his hand.

After giving away every small detail of the passed hours, Jin hyung finally stopped nodding in understandment, however, he kept silent.

" Hyung? " I queried him confused.

" So you almost kissed? " He asked me and I just nodded. " I don't understand. I thought that you told me that Y/N hates your guts. " He added, bothered by my confession.

" She does. " I confirmed.

" But she just stood there when you got closer to her? You always told me she would push you off or hit you or something. " He retorted deep in thought.

" That's the reason I am startled also. " I made clear. " But I think she would pull back If I hadn't before her. I don't know. " I huffed annoyed.

" Jungkook, are you sure that she hates you? " He wondered unsure.

" I- Why would you ask something like this? Of course, I am sure. " I replied bewildered.

" I am not that sure anymore. I mean I know only your point of view, but the way you describe the whole situation... I'd say she doesn't hate you. " He shook his head, looking at me seriously.

" W-what are you saying? " I almost whispered while losing my breath.

" That maybe she still - " I interrupted him, raising my hand in defense.

" Don't. Don't say it, hyung. Don't give me hope. " I pleaded.

" I don't want to give you hope, Jungkook. I just want to make you re-think it. Let things flow and see how and where this goes. " He advised me.

 I nodded, feeling relieved that I visited him. He smiled at me genuinely and I requited it.

The next day found me under a better mood, lighter. Jin hyung was right. I was overthinking everything while all I need to do is let things roll. And that's what I'd do from today. I was determined to follow his advise.

So today, before entering the company, I shut my eyes and allowed a deep breath of fresh air to get through my lungs.

" What's up with you today? " Jimin asked me while walking in.

I simply eyed him and shrugged, making him roll his eyes. However, our chit-chat was cut short as we noticed that everyone was gathered in Namjoon's office. Well almost everyone atleast. Y/N hadn't arrived yet and I was so curious about what she'd be wearing today. Trying to push away these thoughts I shook my head, striding in the office as well, together with Jimin.

" Good morning. " We said in sync and everyone gave away their 'good mornings'.

" Is there something wrong? " I asked, lifting my eyebrows in wonder.

" Yeah, why are you guys gathered? " Jimin questioned.

" Yes, we were discussing about a new project. " Namjoon spoke up.

" Oh? We got a new one already? Wah! " Jimin exclaimed cheerfully.

" Not exactly. We don't have it. Yet. " Namjoon explained.

" What are you talking about, Joon? " I sough for an answer.

" This company is one of Korea's biggest ones and they want to talk before accepting to work with us. In person. " He clarified.

" They need a representative. " Jimin figured.

" Representatives. " Yoongi corrected him.

Jungkook kept his mouth shut, trying to puzzle the pieces together. Namjoon stared at him as he spoke.

" They want to talk with the photographer and the article's writer. " He announced.

" What? Why? Jimin could do it! Or Sunny! Why does it have to be us? " I answered in one breath.

" Jungkook. They need to see the workforce and technically, you and Y/N are the ones holding the company together. The foundations. " Namjoon uttered out, knowing that this would be hard to happen.

" Namjoon- " He interrupted me.

" Jungkook, this means so much for us, for the company. Our company, Gguk. Atleast think about it. " Namjoon pleaded me.

My fingers hid in my hair in agony as I sat down a chair.

" What do they need exactly? " I inquired my boss-friend.

" Oh, nothing much. Just a weekend at a hotel two hours away from here. " Yoongi replied ironically.

" What?! " I almost screamed, raising from my spot.

Namjoon looked at his secretary madly.

" What? " Yoongi asked, shrugging it off flawlessly.

" Jungkook, the pair that runs this company has other, smaller ones in Japan and China and because they travel a lot they asked of me if my people could spare them a weekend at a relaxing place. " Namjoon tried to expound.

" Hyung, do you hear yourself? " I let out an airy laugh. " You know very well that Y/N would never agree with this! " I sorted out.

" What won't I agree with? " A femine voice echoed in the small place.

A very well-known femine voice. Shit.

Everyone's head whipped towards Y/N, who was standing by the door, still holding onto her stuff.

Well, fuck my life. I'm doomed.
