A sudden pain in my chest makes me look down.
I couldn't. I couldn't move. My head was resting on the hard tar road. Every single movement of my eyelids caused my forehead to burn in pain.
I close my eyes; for that was easier to do.
I feel a hot liquid touch my bare cheeks. I manage to move my hand and touch my forehead. I drag my fingers across my wet cheeks and laboriously open my eyes. I see the red liquid smeared all over my fingers.
I couldn't feel my legs. every second felt like a year and the pain only worsened.
Realizing what had just happened, I clench my fists and try getting up. As my eyes search for Tae, something clutches my left hand. I turn abruptly and look back.

Tae was lying lifeless. his hands clutching onto mine. he kept pushing something onto my hands. I take his hand and open it. Looking at the thing he just gave me, his hands fall down.
His hand lies on the road lifeless. Blood all over his hand. His eyes shut closed.
I look at the thing he had just given me. Unable to see properly, I try opening my eyes wider. I clear my vision and stare at it intently.
