(Flashback Start)

"By the power vested in me as the 5th Hokage of Konohagakure, I now pronounce you as man and wife. You may now kiss the bride" Itachi said.

Naruto and Ino kissed each other for the first time as a married couple.

"I present to you Mr. and Mrs. Ino and Naruto Senju" Itachi announced happily.

The next few months passed by after Naruto and Ino were married. Both were being trained, Ino was being trained by Tsunade and her father. Naruto was being taught by Asuma and Kushina, also Itachi on the use of his new Sharingan and Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan abilities. When Shisui's Sharingan eyes with Mangekyo were implanted into Naruto Itachi also implanted his own into Naruto. But Itachi had a plan because when he did this he had Sasuke's Sharingan implanted into himself and he also now has the Eternal Mangekyo.

Asuma showed Naruto more advanced Wind Style Jutsu's and finished his Taijutsu training with his father, Minato's, style. Then Naruto trained with his mother. She trained him in Fuinjutsu, Kenjutsu, and showed him his father's greatest Jutsus. She even showed Naruto the Flying Thunder God technique but Naruto couldn't use it in battle yet. His chakra control wasn't at the required level to perform the Jutsu in battle but he could teleport from point A to B.

Ino trained with Tsunade and learned Medical Ninjutsu and precise chakra control along with the monstrous strength that comes along with that. She also trained with her father on the Yamanaka's Mind Jutsu. She wasn't competing in the finals but she didn't want to fall behind her teammates. She especially didn't want to fall behind her husband in training.

Shikamaru in fact did make it to the finals of the Chunin Exams, much to his unpleasure. The finals were set up in a way where Naruto went against Neji first, the second match was Gaara vs Rock Lee, the third match was TenTen vs Temari, and finally, it's Shikamaru vs Shino. Right now everyone is in the arena where the final part of the exams is taking place. All the participants were waiting up in the examinee's box for their respective matches to start.

Everyone looked up at the Third Hokage as he sat down in the Kage booth. Sitting next to him was the 4th Kazekage. Both exchanged the normal pleasantries with one another. Orochimaru was masquerading as the 4th Kazekage, not knowing the Third Hokage was really the 5th Hokage, Itachi Uchiha. Itachi was using a very high-level Genjutsu on himself so that to others he looked like the Third Hokage.

Then Itachi, disguised as Hiruzen, stood up and spoke to the crowd. "Today eight shinobi, both men and women, will fight to prove that they are worthy of the title and rank of Chunin. So let the matches begin" Itachi announced then sat back down. Yugao called out the first match, "Will Naruto Namikaze and Neji Hyuga please come down to the arena floor". Everyone freaked out when they heard the name Namikaze. Most of the crowd at that moment realized how they failed the 4th Hokage.

Neji quietly walked down to the arena floor, dead focused on what he was about to do. Everyone looked around for Naruto but couldn't find him anywhere. Then a big explosion happened in the middle of the arena. Everyone was blinded by a bright, yellow flash of light. When everyone's sight came back to them they saw Naruto standing in the middle of the arena. Naruto was facing Neji wearing black ninja sandals, black Anbu black ops pants, and a tight, black long sleeve shirt. He had his father's cloak on with his mother's sword strapped to his back.

"YOu must pay for what you have done Naruto!" Neji said angrily while he pointed at NAruto, "Lady Hinata is dead and it's all your fault. I must kill you now so Lady Hinata can have justice" Neji said as he dropped his arm. "Neji..." Naruto started as he looked right at Neji with a slight hint of sadness in his voice, "Hinata made her own choice. I'm still sad she's gone too but revenge won't make you feel any better" Naruto said. "Words will not save you now!" Neji yelled as he got into his fighting stance.

Yugao called for the match to begin shortly after. Neji launched at Naruto, trying to strike him. Naruto played defense, he kept moving and dodging Neji and this continued for a while. Naruto flickered further away and threw Kunai at Neji. "Rotation" Neji yelled. Neji started to rotate and all the Kunai that was launched at him bounced off the dome Neji created. "Neji! Please! don't do this for revenge, it won't bring her back. All your doing is hurting other people. Please... you were my friend, one of the people that were nice and kind to me growing up, I don't want to do this" Naruto begged.

"You call me your friend... but you have shamed my family, I'm an outcast because of you. It was bad enough just being a branch family member but because of you, I failed the main house. You see the main house brands us branch family and we're forced into slavery for the main house and since the day I turned four years old I have lived with that curse. But I loved my cousin so I did my job to protect the main house and its future leader. But now, because of you, I failed and the main house has brought the curse down on me. I haven't slept soundly in a month. I've been beaten and tortured because of you!" Neji shouted angrily.

Neji took off his head protector to show everyone the curse mark or the caged bird seal. "You have no idea what it's like to live with a curse mark and to be branded a slave for life" Neji screamed. Naruto curled his fingers and formed a tight fist, so tight that it almost drew blood. His near shoulder-length blond hair shadowed his eyes. "Neji..." Naruto said quietly. "I know more than you think about having a curse mark, being marked for life" Naruto screamed as he grabbed his shirt and ripped it off and channeled chakra to his stomach. Everyone was shocked when they saw the 9 Tails seal on Naruto.

"This was given to me the very day I was born by my father. My father, the 4th Hokage, sealed a demon in his own son. Because of this seal for the first 12 years of my life, I was beaten, poisoned, and almost raped. I had no one to go to so I tried to kill myself many, many times but the damn fox won't let me die. I was targeted by mobs of people from our own village. You've just had a small taste of what my life has been. I had no one who loved me. I had your cousin but she couldn't be my friend in front of her father. So every day I wished for it all to go away, for all the pain to go away. I was broken and scared for my life I still have nightmares about being 5 years old and running for my life..." Naruto shouted as his EMS flared to life.

Sitting up in the bleachers Ino, Kushina, Anko, and Shizune were all in tears. Ino and Shizune just wanted to run down to NAruto and comfort him and tell him everything will be alright. Tsunade was pissed, She finally heard the horror story that was her grandson's life. She knew bits and pieces of it but not his whole life story. Anko was at a loss. She thought she had protected her little brother the best she could. She didn't know it was that bad. Kushina was crying but she was making plans to pay a visit to everyone who had hurt NAruto. No one hurts her baby boy and gets away with it. "When I find the fucker that tried to rape my baby boy there will be no place on the planet or any other place for them to hide on Not even Tsuanjde with her super strength will stop me. When I'm through with them, they will beg for death" Kushina said darkly.

"...That was until I was placed on Team Ten. It's where I really got to know Asuma-Sensei and Shikamaru. Until I was given someone to love in the form of Ino. So I'm really sorry things played out the way they did with Hinata. But at the end of the day we all choose our destiny. You can to Neji to hell with your Clan. My mother can remove that seal from you. I can help you Neji, don't be blinded by the cycle of hate" NAruto said, with EMS still activated. Neji looked shocked at what he just heard and he started to break down a little. Then a giant boom was heard and then a blinding light hit everyone.
