Six: We debut together. That's all

"Sungchan, not you seeing another Shotaro's fancam " Haechan sat beside Sungchan while gulping down the water. The practice was intense but their song for part 2 comeback is up next, hence they would not complain.

Sungchan pressed the pause button and looked at Haechan "I was just keeping up with his progress. We basically debuted together after all and he was so tired lately so I was just checking if he's doing okay. He's just so busy lately with the others and his schedules that I have not get the chance to talk to him yet. And it's not like I watch his fancam everyday" Sungchan reasoned.

Haechan upon listening to that, laughed. Yeah right. "I was just saying a statement, why are you getting so defensive hmm?"

"I'm not? Anyway the practice today kind of intense, right?" Sungchan awkwardly laughed it away and tried his best to change the subject.

He did not know why but it almost felt as if he's going to get caught. I was just seeing Taro contents everyday just because I want to. But Haechan hyung doesn't need to know that.

"True but anyway why are you so concerned about Shotaro so much? You have been like that since you guys get selected to debut. What are you? His dad?" Haechan not getting fooled by Sungchan's attempt, tried to dig in deeper.

"Me? Concerned? Of course I do. We debut together and his Korean is not that good. That's all"

"Is that true?"

"Yup"

"100% no other intentions?"

"Yup - wait what do you mean?"

"I don't know, maybe like a sense of ownership or something" Haechan eyed Sungchan accusingly.

"I still remember you being stuck with him 24/7 and when me, mark and xiaojun hyung asked him to hangout with us three a week before his debut stage, and you were like 'I need to be there too, Shotaro is new here and what if he met some bad guys'. Bad guys? When we are literally the one who asked him out" Haechan rolled his eyes.

"Shotaro is much older than you, he knows how to take care of himself, Sungchan. With or without you, he will be fine. Stop being so obsessed"

Sungchan's face darkened for a little but he smiled quickly right after, hiding his bad mood.

"Haechan hyung, that's quite some funny assumptions there but it's all wrong" Sungchan let out a small laugh, stood up and pat some little crumbs away from his jogger pants.

"Enlighten me, Sungchan. I only speak facts and you know that" Crossing his arms, Haechan eyed the tall Sungchan, smirking. "Prove me wrong then"

"Sure" Sungchan nodded.

"One. It's not a sense of ownership. I just genuinely care about him." I met Taro first, I was the one who's been his first friend since he's arrived.

"Two. There is a bad one but I won't tell you" Xiaojun hyung, the way he's been eyeing and taking care of Taro.

"Three. He may be older but he needs me to -"

Just then, Winwin appeared at the doorway, asking Haechan and Sungchan to gather in the next room. The two agreed right away.

"Anyway hyung...."

"What?"

"If we are talking about obsessed here, we all know who's the more obsessive one."

"I'm sorry?" Haechan scoffed.

"You with your sense of ownership towards Mark hyung. Everyone here knows" Sungchan whispered. Seeing Haechan becoming speechless, Sungchan lip's corner lifted up.

"I'm just joking, hyung. Don't take it too serious"

Sungchan strode away from the spot, leaving Haechan still trying to process his thoughts and after a while, he laughed bitterly.

"That Sungchan, what a scary guy"
