Escaping The Maze (Newt x Reader)

Part 2: Departure🚡

1 week later;
Today was the day. Taylor and I would be sent to the maze. We would leave Teresa and Tommy and go with our friends. I was excited yet scared. I had a figured out a way for us to keep some memorys. I stuck a tag with some memorys that would activate when certain things were said in the back of Taylor and my own neck. It hurt for a bit but, I knew it would be useful. I was getting dressed to go into the maze. I had to say my goodbyes to Tommy and Teresa and stick the chip in the back of Tommy's neck for when he gets departed up.
My outfit:

I had to figure out a way to do my hair without it getting knotted in the box. There was only 1 mirror in the glade cause I had sent it up for Isabelle and Mya so it would be easier to do hair.
I decided on:

Simple braids. I had to try to keep my long dark brown hair nice and brushed. It would be hard but, I would try. I walk out to see Taylor. I guess we had the same idea for our hair. Her long brown hair was pulled back identical to mine.
Her outfit and hair:

We look at eachother, thinking the same thing. It was time to say goodbye. We checked over the cameras in the maze one last time. Watching Newt and Mya. Newt was talking to our friend Minho and Mya was reading a book I sent up called 'To Kill a Mockingbird'. She loved that book so I sent it up. We finished watching them one last time and went off to find Tommy and Teresa. When we found them, Teresa looked shocked that we were actually doing this. "Well, I guess this is it, I'll see you guys in 1 and a half months.", Tommy was crying and so were we. Teresa was even crying because we were her best friends. I hug Tommy and whisper in his ear "I'm putting the chip in.", he knew what I was doing. I had discussed it earlier. I pushed it into his neck and he held back a yelp in pain. I hug Teresa and we say our goodbyes, exchanging a lot of hugs and tears. I let go of Tommy's hand and Taylor let go of Teresa's. Teresa took us to two white beds. I felt sick looking at them. I looked back at Thomas and gave him a little wave. He waved to both of us before we removed our clothing. We layed down and pulled the sheets up. I looked over at Taylor as Aris and Teresa pushed the needles into us. "I love you sis, I'll see you soon.", My voice was raspy and my chocolate brown eyes were losing their shine. Taylor's caramel brown eyes were losing their light and she was pale. "I love you too, I'll see you soon.", Her voice was losing it's happiness. We were fading, soon to be placed in the box and sent to the maze. Teresa pushed my stamp into my neck and it quickly melted into my skin and faded, now in my blood as a tag. 'Subject A18, Adelaide, The Traitor' was my stamp. Aris pushed Taylor's stamp into her. 'Subject A17, Taylor, the shy sister' was her stamp. My eyes slowly close and I grasp Taylor's hand. After a moment of silence, my senses fade and I fall unconscious. Taylor was already asleep. I guess we were going in the maze.

Third Person View;
The two girls lay on the bed, still as if they were dead. They basically were. Teresa pulls the sheets back and dresses them. Thomas watched Teresa place each girl in the box, side by side before Aris loaded the crates. Teresa started crying as she shuts the metal door and presses the button. The familiar bang and click sounds as the box starts to move up. Thomas turns around and walks back to the camera's. Waiting for hours unt the box to arrrives in the glade.
