Escaping The Maze (Newt x Reader)

I wake up to a faint knocking. I peel my eyes open ever so slowly and look towards the knocking. I see Newt tapping the wall as he sits against the door, zoned out. I stand up slowly, brush dirt off my clothes and use my fingers to kinda brush my hair. I slip my fingers through the rungs and tap Newt shoulder. He turns to me and when he sees me, his eyes light up and a smile appears on his face. "Ah your finally awake love!" He seemed happy. I then see it's morning and I was in here way more the 5 hours. I sigh and ask Newt to let me out. "Of course love! You fell asleep so we didn't want to wake you up so we left you in here." He explains. I nodd and look at the lock. He unlocks it and helps me out. "Well today, you get to meet everyone!" He tells me. I was kinda excited! We walk to homestead and all the Gladers were there. I was directed to sit in a seat, in the middle of the room. I plop down in the wooden chair as I feel all eyes turn to me. Ably clears his throat and begins speaking. "So, here we habe out new greenie, Adelaide and I'm gonna introduce her to the whole lot of you shanks." Alby explains to the boy. The nodd instinctively. "Ok first, Minho, Zart, Winston, Chuck, Jeff, Clint..." he countiues until all the gladers were named off. He pointed out who was who so I now knew all the gladers. I nodd to show I was listening and Alby dismissed the meeting. Newt walks over and lends a hand for me to stand up. I take it and we walk out of homestead. I asked who was giving me the tour and he said himself. I was kinda excited to get a tour from the tall, blonde brit. Welp, time for my tour!
