chapter twenty; over it

Last night turned out to be fun. Over time I've realized who's really there for me and who isn't.
Last night before I went to bed, I texted Cameron and told him that we need to take a break for a while and see other people. I told him its best if we don't talk for a while and that he needs to apologize to Nash and Hayes. Cameron texted Nash and of course Nash forgave him but Hayes is still mad. I woke up and heard the tv on. I rolled over and saw Nash watching the news. He looked over at me and smiled which I don't know why but it made me smile.

"Good morning." He said and kissed my nose and I laughed a little.

I went to the bathroom and took a shower and I wore one of Nash's shirts and a pair of his basketball shorts. I blow dried my hair and French braided it and then did my make up. When I was finished I went back in Nash's room but he wasn't there. I went in the living room to look for them and I ran into a boy I didn't know, he was wearing a gray hoddie and jeans paired with black vans. He was obviously much taller than me and had brown hair. I just looked at him. He was cute but not as cute as Nash and he looked familiar.

"Who are you?" I said with a confused look on my face and he just smiled.
"I'm Jack, you can call me Gilinsky since my friends name is Jack too." He said and smiled.
"Okay, well um, where is Nash?"
"In the living room with Jack, Sam, Skate, and Hayes." He said and then head towards the bathroom.

Okay that was a little weird.. It would have been nice if Nash told me people were coming over.

I went down the hall and into the living and all eyes were on me. Nash was sitting beside a guy with very blonde hair and on the other couch was Hayes and two other guys both with brown hair. I went and sat beside Nash and all eyes were still on me. Nash could tell I was uncomfortable so he put his arm around me and kind of rubbed my shoulder as he always does and kissed my cheek.
"This is Isabella." Nash said smiling at me.
"Hi." I said quietly and smiled.
"Isabella this is Jack, but you can call him Johnson." He said pointing to the boy with blonde hair and Johnson smiled at me.
"And this is Sam." He said pointing to one of the brown hair boys. "But you can call me Sammy." Sam said with a smile and I smiled back at him.
"And I'm Nate, but you can call me Skate." The other brown hair boys said while winking at me and Nash just kind of laughed.
"So is this your girl?" Johnson asked Nash and Hayes rolled his eyes.
"No." He stated and looked at me.
"He's with my best friend Tasha." I said looking at Johnson.
"Yeah um about that." Nash said and handed me his phone.
It was open on messages. Tasha texted him this morning apologizing for cheating on him.
"I'm so sorry." I said looking at Nash.
"It's fine." He said and laughed then taking his phone back. I guess he took that well.

"So she's available.." Skate said with a laugh and other boys laughed too.
"No you can't have her." Nash said and laughed as well.
"Worth a try." Skate said and Gilinsky walked in and sat beside Johnson.
"Gilinsky this is-"
"I know who she is." Gilinsky said cutting Nash off.
"Cameron texted me like four weeks ago." He said with a smirk, which for some reason made Sammy laugh a little.
"So what are we doing today?" I asked.
"I'll take you to a movie." Skate said winking. I just shook my head no and just looked down.
"Dude leave her alone." Nash said trying to be nice about it.
"It's fine." I told Nash smiling at him and he nodded.
"Someone's protective." Sammy said with a smirk.
"Shut up." Nash said and I just put my head in Nash's shoulder and my arms around his waist.
"Okay okay guys chill." Gilinsky said and laughed. "We could go to the mall?" Johnson asked breaking the awkwardness and we all agreed.

On the way to the mall we stopped by my house and I put some decent clothes on. I kept Nash's shirt on and threw some skinny jeans on and my black vans. I grabbed my phone and purse and then got back into the car.

It was around eight o'clock before we got back. The boys dropped Nash, Hayes, and I off at Nash's apartment. The mall consisted of Gilinsky, Sam, and Skate being the biggest flirts ever. Johnson was normal and cool, but it didn't really bother me, it was just a little odd. I didn't get much at the mall but the guys got a lot. Weird right? Anyway since it's Sunday I have school tomorrow so Nash has to take me home.

The ride to my house was quite and it didn't take very long to get to my house. Nash walked me to my door and smiled at me.
"What?" I asked and smiled.
"Nothing." He said and looked down. I hugged him and he hugged back kissing my forehead.
"Goodnight." I said with a smile.
"Night." He said and looked down.
"I had a good day."
"Me too." He said with a smile.
"Well bye." I said and waved a little about to open the door.
"I love you." He said and looked down.
"I love you too Nash, obviously."
I said and he just looked at me.
"Goodnight." I said then went in my house.
That was a little awkward.
