chapter fifteen; meeting the family

Isabella's POV;

It's been a month since comic con has been over and Cam and I are finally back in Cali. My moms back home so I'm not living with Cam and Nash anymore. Homeschooling is going great and I get to hang out with my mom a lot more now that she isn't working as hard and my anxiety is almost gone! The hate has stopped a lot and I'm a lot happier. The only thing that bothers me is that my dad isn't in our family anymore, my mom even went back to her maiden name "Anders" and I'm stuck with "Collins", but I don't know why I care. A little after comic con ended me and Cameron got in our first fight and it was horrible and caused by Carter.. We still don't know why he hates me but he tried breaking Cam and I up. He told Cam I was texting some guy behind his back which I wasn't but anyway that's over with now.

A couple weeks ago Cameron's mom called him and was asking "who the girl from his Instagram and Twitter posts were" and so was his sister, so today I'm going to Cameron's moms house for dinner to meet his mom and sister. Great. Honestly I am beyond nervous. I'm afraid they will hate me but Cam and Nash keep telling me they will love me but I highly doubt that.
I was sitting in the couch with my mom watching some movie on Hallmark and I was almost asleep when my phone went off.

"from Cam💜😍: don't forget I'm picking you up at 6:30 for dinner tonight!😁"

"to Cam💜😍: I couldn't forget even if I wanted too..."

He literally will not stop reminding me.

"from Cam💜😍 : you'll be fine babe."

haha yeah right.

"to Cam💜😍: whatever you say handsome.❤️"

I fell asleep right after I sent the last message and then later was woke up by my mom telling me it was five o'clock. I ran up stairs to my room, picked out an outfit then got in the shower. I decided to wear my 'mint floral lace dress' that was short sleeved and came down to my mid thigh, paired with a pair for black flats. I blow dried my long brown hair then straightened it and did my make-up the same as always. It was already six o'clock so I got my purse and phone then walked down stairs. As soon and I got to the living room someone rang the doorbell. I opened the door to see my very handsome boyfriend in a blue dress shirt with black dress pants and paired with black dress shoes and he had his hair the same as always.

"Well don't you look handsome" my mom said from behind me and Cameron just laughed.
"I don't know Miss Anders, I think Isabella has me beat." He said with a smile on his face and I just laughed at him.

I gave my mom a hug and we all said our goodbyes and then Cameron and I walked hand in hand to his car. He opened the door for me and also helped me buckle up as always and then got in the car. We listened to the new Ed Sheeran album on the way to his moms house and it felt like it was only five minutes and we were there.
Cam got out of the car and opened my door for me and then we walked up to his moms house. He held my hand and was smiling at me but I just looked down.

"Are you okay princess?" He asked making me look him in the eyes.
"Yes I'm fine, just a tad bit nervous." I said then looked down again.
"Well don't be because they are going to love you and you look insanely beautiful so how could they not?!" He said with a small laugh which made me laugh a little. He put a strand of hair behind my ear, kissed me. He knocked on the door and it wasn't no time before a very young, way more beautiful than me, girl opened the door. She had a huge smile on her face and gave Cameron a hug. She then smiled and hugged me.
"You must me Isabella?" She said with a lovely smile.
"Yep that's me!" I said with a smile.
"I'm so glad to finally meet you. You look very pretty!" She patting my shoulder.
"You do too." I said and the kind of looked down.
"Oh by the way my name is Sierra! I'm Cameron's older sister." She said and the started walking off. Me and Cameron followed her into the dinning room which was beside the kitchen where his mom was cooking.
"Mom! Cam and Isabella are here!" Sierra yelled as she walked into the kitchen. It was only a couple minutes until his mom came running to Cameron and gave him a hug and kisses his cheek.
"You must be Isabella." She said with a smiled and shook my hand.
"It's nice to meet you Mrs. Dallas." I said as nice as I possibly could and with a smile but she just nodded and went back into the kitchen.
Cameron, Sierra, and I sat at the dinning room table and waited for the food to be done and just made small talk. His mom made Chicken Alfredo with garlic bread and we all had tea to drink. It was absolutely amazing. After dinner we went into the living room to talk.
"So Isabella are you in school or? What's the deal?" Mrs. Dallas said with a small smile.
"Well I'll be a senior next year but I'm homeschooled so I can spend time with Cameron." I said with a smile and he just laughed and put his arm around me.
"How old are you?" She asked with a confused face. Sierra just looked down and Cameron tensed up a little. Yes I'm aware that I am sixteen and Cameron is nineteen but we don't see why that was a problem.
"She's sixteen mom." Cameron said with a smile. I looked over to Sierra and she was smiling to but for some odd reason his mom didn't seem too thrilled.
"You two do realize that's illegal, right?" He said with a straight face.
"So." Cameron said with a confused look in his face. " she'll be seventeen in December." It's October. "Yeah then next year you'll be 20, Cameron. Still illegal." His mother said. I was afraid she would be mad...
"What does that matter, you should be happy she makes me happy, not care about a stupid age." He said and she just looked down. "Really mom I don't understand why it's a big deal either." Sierra said then looked down.
"Well if she makes you happy, then I'm happy." Mrs. Dallas said with a smile, which made made Cameron smile.
We spent the rest of the night telling her about me and how long me and Cameron have been together. His mom likes me now and his sister is a total sweetheart and we are even going to be hanging out next Friday.
We stayed at his house for a couple hours then left.

"Do you wanna stay the night? Hayes is back." He said with a laugh since he know I love Hayes.
"Since Hayes is back I will" I said with a smirk and then laughed at Cameron getting jealous. "Kidding." I said then got my phone to text my mom, of course she said I could. I haven't been to Cams in two weeks which is like forever and a day. It wasn't long until we were at Cam and Nash's apartment. As soon as Cameron opened the door I saw Hayes and ran to him and gave the biggest hug ever.

"I. Can't. Breathe." Hayes said and I just laughed.
"Sorry... Not sorry." I said then Nash gave me a hug.
"Okay guys she's mine." Cam said and we just laughed.
"Well I'm stealing her from you." Hayes said and came over and hugged me. Then I just laughed. He's adorable but I never though a fourteen year old would be taller than me. Yes I'm very short.
"Yeah okay." Cam said then sat on the couch and started playing some racing video game.
I went and Cameron's room and stole a shirt and some sweat pants and put them on then, threw my hair into a high ponytail. I plugged up my phone then went back into the living room where Nash, Cam, and Hayes were.

"Heyy cutie." Hayes said winking and I just laughed as Cameron glared at him. Then I went and sat down beside Hayes and put my head on his chest and he put his arm around me. I laughed then stuck my tongue out at Cameron and he did the same and laughed also because he knew it was just a joke.
We were all watching C.S.I but then I fell asleep on Hayes. Today has been a stressful day...
