chapter seventeen; a new start.

It's been three weeks since Cameron and I broke up. He hasn't even texted me or called. Sierra texted me and asked if I was still wanting to go to the mall but I told her I was busy, mainly only because I didn't want anything to do with them anymore. Cameron really hurt me. I quit home school which I was glad because I really started to miss my best friend Lakyn.
Before Alison moved it was always Lakyn, Alison, and I, we hung out all the time, but anyway I'm going to my old school again. My mom finally got me a car! It's a grey Ford Explorer and I'm in love. She got it for me for my seventeenth birthday, that's right I'm finally seventeen!
After Cameron broke up with me Nash moved out because he was even trying to fight with Hayes and was being mean to Nash. For some reason Cameron turned into a complete jerk out of nowhere.
A couple weeks ago there was a new girl at my school her name is Tasha. She is so pretty. She has short dirty blonde hair and is the same height as me which is rare since I'm so short. I'm 5'1 but I'm not really complaining because Hayes says I'm cute.
Ever since Cameron and I broke up Hayes and I have been hanging out almost 24/7. Is that bad? Oh well.
As of right now I'm on my way to pick up Tasha so we can go celebrate Hayes's birthday. Nash, Hayes, Tasha, and I are going out to dinner for Hayes's birthday and then probably a movie or bowling. Oh and did I mention Tasha and Nash are together. They're my new otp, just saying they're adorable.
I pick up Tasha and then we headed to Hayes and Nash's apartment. Since Hayes is turning fifteen his parents let him move out here with Nash and start being homeschooled. That's how we've been hanging out so much. I love being with Hayes. He makes me happier than Cameron ever did. Cameron was sweet but sometimes can off as a jerk and the fans seem to like the fact that Hayes and I hangout a lot.
Anyway we picked up Nash and Hayes then headed to this really fancy restaurant. The car ride there was just all of us singing along with the radio and us acting stupid. When we got there, we noticed people waiting outside so Nash and Tasha went to put our name in and Hayes and I stayed outside.
We sat down on a bench and Hayes slung his arm around me and kissed my cheek. I just laughed and smiled at him.
"What was that for?" I asked him and he just smiled and shrugged his shoulders.
"You look really pretty Isabella." He said very serious and I thanked him.
"And you are very handsome." I said poking his nose and he just laughed and said thank you.It wasn't long until Nash and Tasha came back. We have to wait twenty minutes.
It didn't seem like it took long until we were seated. we all ordred and just made jokes and talked until our food came. After we ate, the staff came and sang to Hayes. It was so funny, mainly because his face tunrned so red! He was so adorable. He let me eat some of his cake and of course Tasha and Nash had to have some cake also. After we left we went bowling. Tasha and Nash were having the time of there lives but I could tell Hayes was getting a little bored, but he looked so cute. What is wrong with me. I don't like Hayes, do I? He obviously just likes me as a friend so it wouldn't matter if I liked him anyway, right?

"Wanna go to the game room?" I asked him while sitting beside him and smiling.
"Please!" He said getting up and smiling. I told Nash and and then we went to the game room.
We played a lot of games and when we were done we had five hundred tickets which shocked me! We went up to the prize counter to pick out a prize and I saw a huge panda bear that needed five hundred tickets and I wanted it so bad but since it was Hayes's birthday I wasn't going to say anything.

"Whatcha want birthday boy?" I said leaning on his shoulder and laughing.
"What can I get you." The man at the counter asked us. Hayes gave him the tickets and the man counted them and told us what we could get.
"The panda bear." Hayes said and the man got it down.
Man I really wanted that. I thought to myself but of course I wasn't going to tell him.
"For you." He said with a smile and handed me the huge panda bear.
"Hayes it's your birthday." I said and handed the bear back to him.
"That doesn't matter." He said and handed me the bear and I took it. He grabbed my hand and lead me outside. I was a little confused.
"Since you gave me this bear do you want to get your present now? It's in the trunk of my car." I said pointing to my Ford Explorer as we got outside.
"Isabella, you didn't have to get me anything." He said, still holding my hand.
"Well, I wanted too." I said smiling at him.
"I need to talk you in private. That's why we're out here." He said then smiled at me.
"Okay, what's up Grier." I said and he laughed a little. He was still holding my hand and started rubbing circles on my hand with his thumb.
He looked down then looked up at me and smiled.
"Isabella Marie Claire." He said then paused. "Will you be my girlfriend." He asked and I'm pretty sure I had butterflies up to my throat.
"What?" I said in a whisper but loud that he could here me.
"Be my girlfriend." He said and smiled. The biggest smile was on my face.
"Of course! Yes I'll be your girlfriend!" I said smiling and he had the biggest smile on his face.
He leaned in and kissed me, I was shocked at first but then, I kissed back. He stood back and just smiled at me and then I hugged him.
"This is the best birthday ever." He said while still hugging me then I let go.
"I'm glad." I said with a smile and the we walked in, hand in hand to Nash and Tasha. We sat down and talked, while waiting for Nash and Tasha finished the game they were playing. After they finished we got in my car and went back to Nash and Hayes apartment. Tasha and I got our presents for Hayes out of the trunk and the went in.
We sat in the living room and gave Hayes his presents. Tasha got him some red vans and some shirts which I could tell he liked. He opened the present I got him, which was some nike socks, a football, a hoodie for his favorite football team and some beats head phones. He absolutely loved his gift. Thank God! I was so scared he wouldn't. We watched a basketball game for a while and then Tasha's mom called and said she had to come home.
They're really strict. She is only allowed to spend the night at my house so that means she can't stay at Nash's and I'm rarely at my house so we tend to stay at Nash's a lot, when they think we're at my house but my mom is cool so she goes along with our plans but tonight I'm staying at her house. I'm surprised they let her go tonight, which I was there and they think I'm a good influence on her. Ha very funny!
Nash and Tasha said there goodbyes and Hayes walked over and gave me a hug then kissed me.
"Whoa, so I take it she said yes?!" Nash said and Hayes and I just laugh and so did Tasha and Nash.
Tasha and I left and headed to her house and she was looking something up on my phone, when it went off.
"What was that?" I asked and she just looked at me.
"Oh nothing." She said.
"You're horrible liar." I said and laughed at her.
"Fine. It was Cameron." She said biting her lip afraid to tell me and I just glared at her.
"What!" I said looking at her with anger but trying to keep my eyes on the road.
"What did he say?!" I asked an rolled my eyes.
"H-he, um he said, he misses you." She said and just looked at me.
