4 months later of planning and scheduling, It was finally our wedding day. Momo was helping me get ready,
"Todoroki stop moving!" Momo said, trying to do my tie.
"Momo you can do my headpiece just let me do my tie," I said as I pulled away.
"Fine, Come over here," She responded as I followed her to a vanity. Once I sat down she did my hair and placed the headpiece on my head which was beautiful lace with white flowers and beads. Momo moved the veil on my shoulders and smiled.
"You look beautiful," Momo says as she hands me my bouquet of flowers. I stand up and hug her,
"Thank you, Momo," I say, hugging her but she lets go.
"Don't ruin my masterpiece," Momo says as she fixes my veil. I chuckle, and she leads me down the stairs to the beginning of the aisle. She hugged me gently for the last time.
"Go get em'," She said as she joined the crowd in the seats. I smile nervously, as I step down the aisle to Katsuki. When I reached Katsuki, I handed Kaminari my bouquet, as I looked back at Katsuki.
"All the guests who came today for these two may sit down," The priest. The guests that we invited sat down, "We gather here today to unite these two people in marriage. Their decision to marry has not been entered into lightly and today they publicly declare their private devotion to each other. The essence of this commitment is the acceptance of each other in entirety, as lover, companion, and friend. A good and balanced relationship is one in which neither person is overpowered nor absorbed by the other, one in which neither person is possessive of the other, one in which both give their love freely and without jealousy. Marriage, ideally, is a sharing of responsibilities, hopes, and dreams. It takes a special effort to grow together, survive hard times, and be
loving and unselfish." The priest says as he continues. "Do you both pledge to share your lives openly with one another, and to speak the truth in love? Do you promise to honor and tenderly care for one another, cherish and encourage each other, stand
together, through sorrows and joys, hardships and triumphs for all
the days of your lives?"
"We do," Katsuki and I both said at the same time.
"Do you pledge to share your love and the joys of your marriage with
all those around you, so that they may learn from your love and be
encouraged to grow in their own lives?" The priest said.
"We do," We both said again. I smile softly at Katsuki.
"May these rings be blessed as a symbol of your union. As often as
neither of you look upon these rings, may you not only be reminded of this moment, but also of the vows you have made and the strength of your commitment to each other. Katsuki Bakugou, please repeat after me...." The priest says. Katsuki nods, the priest continues. "I, Katsuki Bakugou, promise to love and support you Shoto Todoroki and live each day
with kindness, understanding, truth, humor, and passion. With this ring I wed." The priest says. Katsuki repeats it to me by taking my left hand and places the ring on my wedding finger.
"Shoto, please repeat after me ...
I Shoto Todoroki, promise to love and support you Katsuki Bakugou and live each day with kindness, understanding, truth, humor, and passion. With this ring I wed." I nod and repeat it, taking Katsuki's left hand and placing a ring on his wedding finger.
"Go now in peace and live in love, sharing the most precious gifts you have-
the gifts of your lives united. And may your days be long on this earth.
I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." The priest says.
