A tall blonde man worked feverishly over a table, cutting fabrics that, although done quickly, turn out clean and exact. His long waist length hair was tied back and his long flowing sleaves rolled up and tucked in. His normal, playful personality had vanished and in its place a more focused and determined man. His face once warm and friendly now looked serious, almost ancient. He whipes sweat from his brow, nervousness growing. This was not the first time he had done this, but for the purpose the first and soon-to-be creation served, there was no room for error.

Finally his work paid off, and he sucessfully created brightly colored cloathing that mimiced his own garb. Small robes, fit for a child.

A white wolf with crimson markings sat observing him from the other side of the table. She watched quietly, almost patiently on him. She trusted his work better than he himself did, she did not worry over any error that he might make. In fact, watching him was the only thing keeping her from worrying over the events happening below them, in the mortal world. Her son was sent to defeat a new evil that thretened the humans. Remembering her own adventures sent a shiver through her spine, imagining her only pup going through that. It would be over soon though. Just one more fight, just one more life lost. She looked at her partner, eyes cold in determination over his work, his fingers moving skillfuly through more fabrics and other materials. Sweat dripped down the side of his face. No. Two lives left to be lost. The divine wepon on her back burned with viberant colors and fire, illuminating the room.

The man, Waka, began sewing peach colored fabrics together, lining and filling them with stuffing to give them a full apperance. Soon he had produced a doll, which he cloathed carefully in his mimiced robes. The doll had long blonde hair not unlike his own, and soon had a face stitched in that mirrored its creator. Satisfied with it, he collapsed back in his chair heaving a sigh. His fingers ached and bled in some places from strain, and his back, sore from labor throbbed and he fidgeted in his chair. His eyes tired eyes looked upon his creation, and a new knot formed in his stomach. It was compleat, but the task was far from over. The wolf waited quietly, and blinked at him. " Mon amie...Amaterasu, its done." The wolf stood and gracefully moved to the side of the table. She pressed her nose to the dolls forhead, an a light shone at the connection. The light, faint at first soon expandded until the entire room was engulfed in white. A small voice called out from somewhere in it, the voice of a small boy.

"Do it, do it NOW!.....You have to put me down if you want to beat Akuro!...This is your only chance!...no, you have to do it!....this is my destiny!....My body was created to be a seal for Akuro...he's ther now, inside me...I cant hold him for long!....If I die, then Akuro dies with me!....Like I said im not like the rest of you...Thats why...thats why iv always been alone...I was afriad my destiny would be something like this, so I avoided finding out what it was...I mean who wants to wind up as nothing more than a copy? a soulless copy...so i ran away, i tried to avoid my fate...thats why I decided to throw my hat in with Akuro.....pretty pitiful eh?.....I couldnt bear the weight, the weight of my destiny...I was.. I was weak...You, you tried to save me before dude...Thanks for that...you were really the best partner a dude could have...sorry I cant hold him any longer....hurry, do it...BEAT AKURO!...Im not doing this because I have to...its because of what I saw...for the world itself...and for the people I met...Im...Im ready...thats how I feel. I want to do this...so what are you waiting for? do this one last thing...for your partner... "

Images appeared through the light, of a young child, batteling filthy creatures, or walking with a small wolf, or simply being with friends. he looked happy, content with the world around him, discovering something in every scene. A tear fell down Wakas cheek. He had done this. He created new life just to send it off to die. everything he saw around him was happy, but it was also all there was. All of the boys life. Waka felt ashamed of himself, hated himself. He had to though, he knew that, but it could not quell the ache in his heart. If he had not created the life to seal away the evil and destory it, humanity would be lost, but still, more tears fell from his eyes. He gave life back to the one he had forced to surender it, but would it be enough to amend his crime? Would the boy forgive the man who created him to use him and rob him of his life? How could he? Soon the images faded, and the light dimmed. They were once again in the room, but something was different. The dolls fabric turned flesh. A small blonde haired boy layed before them.

Waka's heart refused to beat. He didint dare move. Did he fail? Had he made some error? Or, did he hope for something that was impossible in the firstplace? Did his heart ache so much as to form an impossible idea that would amend himself and heal his pain? Has he been lying to himself all along that this would work? No. The boy stirred lightly. His fingers twitched and his head shook lightly. His eyes fluttered open. " aw..dude.." His voice was cracked and exausted, but he was alive. Waka fell to his knees, laughing with relief and overcome with joy. He stroked the boys head lightly until he was able to fully open his eyes. " You,look like my partner...." He turned ot Ammy before focusing his eyes on the ground. His eyes watered as memories of his partner he left behind echoed in his mind. Waka's heart felt cracked again. He had caused this sorrow. The boy turned to him. " you look like...you're..." His eyes opened as wide as his streaght would allow. Waka nodded.

" I am...Im sorry I...I cant....I-I...." Waka chocked through tears, at a loss of words. He could never amend for what he had done, and did not know what to say in the face of the person he created to destroy himself. Kurow watched as he blubbered on, at a loss of words himself. He didnt know weater to be angry, he made his peace with his fate, and knew if he had not died all of humanity would be lost, but now he faced the man responsible for it all. His creator. His puppet master. "D-Dude...." They locked eyes, both a deep blue, both exactly alike. They formed words in the unspoken silence then. A peace both of them needed. They understood one another, accepted, and forgiven.

Kurow was left to sleep, and sleep he did. He let nothing wake him for what must have been days. It wasnt until a wet toung attacking his face did he allow himself to be roused. " O.k.! O.k.! Dude Im up!" A white wolf with divine crimson markings pounced on him, licking his face, tears driping from his eyes. " Dude Its you! " Cried Kurow! The two wrestled, laughing and crieng, joyfully playing together like they thought they could never do again. Waka watched from the door frame, his playful old self finnaly back. Kurow was alive, and happy. He felt whole again. The only task he was concerned about now was keeping the celestial plain rid of demons. Should be fun...
