When the post-wedding dinner is over with, everyone, slowly but surely, leaves the restaurant to go to their hotels or wherever they're staying before going back home. Vernon and Nancy are still riding the high of their wedding and couldn't be more in love with each other right now. They are still faced with the discussion of leaving their groups so that they can move along with their lives, have a family, and settle down. Vernon is 25 and Nancy is 23, at this point, it would be the height of their careers, but they feel it is best to move on. They had a great run with their groups, and it's just time. That conversation will be really hard to have with their companies and members.

The following day, Vernon and Nancy returned to Seoul, and now are at their companies. They already discussed with their members about leaving their groups. Seventeen can't be called Seventeen without Vernon, but it's the reality they face. Vernon is married and would rather move on. They all cried it out as they had to watch Vernon leave Seventeen. They have been together for the past 7-8 years. It's always sad to see a member go after being best friends for so long.

Meanwhile, at MLD Entertaiment, Nancy is discussing with her members about leaving her group. Unlike Seventeen, Momoland has seem the departure of members before. For example; Daisey, Taeha, and Yeonwoo have all left Momoland before. They originally debuted as 9 members, but after those three members left, they only have 6 members remaining. Now, Nancy is about to leave, and will leave Momoland with only 5 members. It is sad that all the members leaving might lead to the disbandment of Momoland, but that's the sad reality.

After a long discussion with each of their companies, they decided to terminate their exclusive contracts with Pledis Entertainment and MLD Entertaiment. As they were packing up their belongings in each of their dorms, they couldn't help but cry. They have been with these groups for so long and it's hard to leave. When their contracts were officially terminated, Vernon and Nancy called each other on the phone, in tears, saying that their careers with Seventeen and Momoland are officially over.
"It really is over now." Nancy sobbed.
"I know. My God, we've spent years in our groups and to just pick up and leave like that. It feels cruel." Vernon said.
"Yes, but this is what we both agreed on, so it must be done." Nancy said, trying to dry up her tears.
"Let's not be sad. Let's be glad glad we made such an impact, and inspired others like us to pursue a career in the entertainment industry." Vernon said.
"You do have a point there." Nancy said.
"So, I'm almost done packing up. I just need to say my final goodbyes to my members." Vernon said.
"What is Seventeen going to do. They can't be Seventeen without 13 members. What are they going to call themselves? Sixteen?" Nancy asked, joking.
"Well, they do have someone in mind to not really replace me, but to fill my spot." Vernon said.
"Really, who?" Nancy asked.
"They were thinking of called back Kim Samuel to see if he's interested." Vernon said.
"Oh? That would be really interesting to see, but I thought he wanted to be an independent artist." Nancy said.
"That is true, but they just wanted to give him a call and see if he's interested." Vernon said.
"Ah, I see." Nancy said.

Nancy and Vernon officially walk away from their companies that next week. It takes a few days before the termination of their contracts are finalized and approved, so they had to wait a little bit before they could actually leave. When they actually walked away that day, they couldn't stop thinking about how they left a piece of themselves at their companies and with their members. Now, they are on their own, left to find their own little place for themselves. They did decide that they would visit Pledis Entertainment and MLD Entertaiment once in a while to go see how their ex members are doing since their departure. They wouldn't want to leave and then completely forget about them, that would just be wrong.

A few weeks into their venture away from their companies, found a little place for themselves in Itaewon. They chose Itaewon because they wanted to be far enough away from Gangnam so they wouldn't be reminded too much of their past as an idol, but close enough to where they could make easy trips to Gangnam in case they wanted to visit Pledis Entertaiment MLD Entertaiment. They also like Itaewon for how many foreigners and unique restaurants are here. The American restaurants will remind Nancy of her time living in America, and the Korean restaurants will remind them both of their incredible and unique lives, growing up in Korea. They are excited to open a new chapter of their lives as a married couple, and can't wait to see what's next after this.
