Asher just stared at the boy, and the boy stared right back. He tried to look away but the boy wouldn't let him. He tried to grasp his throat, but the boy was just out of reach. He snapped his honey eyes shut and willed the boy away, but when he opened them again, he was still there. Always there. The reminder. The shadow. Asher turned from the mirror.
And a coward, he thought to himself, before shoving two pills down his throat.
