sun-kissed
the name of a song
he had sent me when I was down
when he used to see my hurt
the joy that song used to fill me with
I thought
"I could marry this boy"
I used to listen to it every time
I felt down or depressed
when the thing that
filled you with joy most
now hurts your heart
at the thought of it
it's a warning, that you need to let go
(so why can't I do it)
