→ hinata Hinata felt guilty about not meeting up with you. As he looked back on it, he realized that he hadn't had a full conversation with you in a while... but right now, the only thing on his mind was volleyball, the opposing teams, and winning. The thought of you not hearing out his apology and misunderstanding why this was important to him really shook him to the core. Maybe he should leave a text or message...? He ended up leaving a message along the lines of, 'I'm sorry, I promise to give you more time once I'm back.' and it was never opened. Suddenly, volleyball wasn't the thing he was most concerned about. When he arrived to the joint training camp, he texted you. He texted you before and after each match. He tried calling you a few times. All went without responses. "Hinata, get your head in the game, dumbass!" Kageyama stomped over to a dazed Hinata. "What's gotten into you?! I thought you were excited to be-" "It's probably Y/n." Suga called out from the side and Hinata flinched. "How'd you know?" he whined. "I overheard the fight," Suga explained and then pat Hinata's back. "I'll try to reach her for you alright?"
→ kageyama A few days went without you two talking or even approaching each other. He makes a point to stalk you a bit, though. He's seen you around your friends, definitely out of it. You were there with them but it didn't look like it. You were staring off into space, at your feet, or at your books seemingly deep in thought. He did need a break... the amount of things that was going on in his life demanded lots of energy and focus, including a relationship. But even after he broke off with you, he felt more on-edge and stressed than ever. "Oi, king, might as well just go and talk to her if you're gonna stare at her for that long." Tsukishima passed by and of course, not without leaving a snarky comment. Kageyama scoffed, reluctantly walking away from where he stood.
→ daichi All the memories flushed into his head from that night. All the pent up anger, stress, and responsibility just burst out of him and he dumped it onto you. He felt horrible. The things he said lingered in the back of his head and he just wanted to be held by you again, apologize, and go back to how things were. The team was definitely feeling the effects of his moods-- he wasn't leading much, he let Tananoya and Kagehina do what they wanted, and he wasn't even as invested in playing anymore because he was just in his head. "Captain?" Tanaka came up to poke Daichi's shoulders. "Noya and I just jumped off the railings." "Be careful," was all Daichi responded with. The team stared at each other awkwardly. Daichi was their direction and right now, he wasn't functioning properly. Hinata tugged on Kag's sleeve, and both left through the door.
→ sugawara "This was the second time," Suga scolded himself. "that I brought up her work." Not only that, but he pushed you away harshly. The feeling of being second to Kags never truly went away and as much as he wanted to be happy for the prodigy... he felt a bit selfish, too. You two didn't talk for a while. Suga needed to sort out himself and put himself in check and that proved to take longer than he expected. He didn't want to slip up again. After a few days, he sent out some texts. The one-worded ones turned to long paragraphs as every night before bed he apologized and wanted to make it up to you. Suga turned up late to a lot of practices since he stayed up late waiting for your reply. Daichi and Asahi were concerned and they decided to do something about it.
