first meeting You saw him peeping through the window of the gym and you asked him what he was doing-- he got so startled that leaped out of his skin before turning to look at you. You smiled in amusement and shock to his reaction... he looked like a grown man but he was pancaked against the wall, breathing heavily from the scare. You shook your head smiling before walking away.
actually talking/meeting in high school Asahi was scarred from that encounter with you and when he sees you, he scrunches up his face and books it in the opposite direction. When he saw you in the halls, he tried to run away but you called out to him before he could do anything. "You don't have to give me that look every time you see me," you pouted. "You don't even know my name." "Sorry, sorry," He said, feeling awkward. You two started to talk casually (even if it was 90% you at first,) and he stopped acting like you were the plague.
asking you out/confession It'd been several weeks that you and Asahi had been meeting up and chatting frequently. He was much more relaxed and talkative around you, even it he did cringe inside every time he said something. One day when you two were walking to your after-lunch classes, you decided to confess. "Hey, come over to my house tomorrow after school." You smiled. "We can watch a movie." He was glad that you asked him out because he didn't have the courage to yet. "Yes, I'll be there."
first date He came over to your house like you had planned and he was sO AWKWARD. First off, he's a giant so he had to duck under entrances and crouch a lot; two, he's never ever been to a girl's house and the only experience he has with girls is Kiyoko. Once he saw that you didn't care about anything he was concerned about, he relaxed a bit-- you two watched a movie and ate a bunch of snacks. By the end of the night, you had fallen asleep next to each other.
early couple moments Since you didn't verbally confirm being together, you thought you two were dating while he didn't. So he thought it was done and over when you still wanted to be around him-- he had asked you about it and you were like, "Aren't we...." you struggled to find the words since you wanted to spare yourself the embarrassment. Asahi got flustered when he caught on and said, "Well, uh, I mean-- if you want to, because I don't have a problem with it--" You shook your head at him, smiling.
when he intro'd you to his friends Everyone was genuinely surprised he had a girlfriend-- it was the funniest thing to you. When you accompanied him to practice holding hands, everyone froze in their tracks and just stared at Asahi in confusion and shock. Daichi and Suga weren't responding and Noya was hyping Asahi up, like "wow I knew you weren't a total loser!"
first kiss You just did it-- you knew he wasn't going to initiate anything so when you were ready, you pressed a chaste kiss to his lips, nodded when you locked eyes, then walked to your next class.
hand-holding Asahi's hands are rough but when you hold them, you feel safe and loved. He's gentle despite his appearance and hand-holding is one of his ways to show affection.
when you're cold You like to snuggle up in his lap. He could be reading a book or something and you could just plant yourself down one him and lean back on his chest. He got used to it after a while and cherishes the moments.
they talk about/defend you Asahi's intimidating to people who don't know him well, so they're not too keen on talking about his girlfriend. When he talks about you, he gets himself flustered and embarrassed and everyone's entertained by it-- example: "So how's your ReLaTiOnsHiP going ;)))" Noya said, teasing his friend. Asahi grins and replies, "It's going great! Y/n is awesome, she's pretty and smart and funny and confident and she really likes me..." He pauses for a second and then shuts down.
they snap at you If Asahi of all people were to snap at you, he would've had a bad day or feeling pressured at practice. And he probably won't even snap at you-- he'd just be passive aggressive or something like that. Like if you'd send a text to him, he'd leave you on read. You'd be more sad than mad, really.
realizing their mistake After he cools off, he knows exactly what he did wrong and will call or text you right away-- he'd probably stay up for hours waiting for your reply. He just hopes you can understand why he was in such a bad mood.
apologizing It only takes a simple 'sorry' from him because you know he means it. You know that he's under a lot of pressure as a key player on his volleyball team and that it can sometimes get to him.
making you blush He gets you flustered when he acts soft with you. Usually he's more of a physical lover, so when he actually tells you what he's thinking when he's holding you, it makes your heart flutter.
making him blush You could do virtually anything and he'd blush. Literally, this man is so infatuated by you that all you have to do is look at him and he'd go all red.
cute things he does with you He's your personal cab. It's an unspoken thing between the two of you. You just lift your arms and he's on his knees, ready for you to climb on his back. He's a strong guy and could hold you up for a long time. You love it and he loves it when you hold onto him tightly.
nicknames He didn't know what to call you and everyone on the team were giving him suggestions (ahemnoyandtanakaahem) and he got so confused that he panicked and called you peaches.
pda He really isn't too big on pda-- it gets him super flustered and distracted. He'd rather love on you when you're in private.
coming to one of his games You're his number one fan. When you're watching, he gets a bit nervous and fears that you'd be disappointed. But you cheer even louder when he doesn't get a point and that motivates him more than ever.
someone hits on you He kinda debates whether or not to make a move because he doesn't wanna seem possessive. Usually, he ends up approaching you two and the sheer intimidation of his person causes the person to split. He doesn't even know what he did.
jealous He's a really quiet type of jealous. He won't talk for a bit and be in his thoughts. You prove all his assumptions wrong-- he doesn't like feeling jealous but can't help it.
they tease you
He likes to tower over you and see your surprised face turn into one of joy. You literally jump out of your skin when you see his shadow and he loves getting that scare out of you.
you fall asleep on them He likes to cradle you. His arms are strong and long so they have no problem with circling around your body. He's always the big spoon; he could just lay down and you'd go by him, either snuggling into his sides or chest. He's gotten used to it and he falls asleep faster with you around.
