The blood prince Keisueki Oji

Aoi Kiba

(Told from Kireina Yoru's point of view)

A few weeks later, Oji and I went to school, and as we sat in class, Oji came up to Natsu and I. "Help me... please Yoru!" He wimpered, he was down low enough, to rest his head helplessly on my desk, and he was staring at me with sad, scared, eyes. "What is it" I rolled my eyes, "It's them," He stood up, and pinted at three girls staring at him with larg eyes, "They won't leave me alone!" He said. "What I'm I supposed to do?" A asked. "I don't know, tell them you're with me...please!" He begged, "And become a target... no thanks." I said. "Damn it Yoru! Please!" He begged. "No" I responded, I was going to let him suffer.... through the day at least. "Alright, everyone sit down." The teacher walked in. After class, during lunch, Natsu, Oji, and I sat on the hill. "So, prince, what's with the hair, you look like an albino human." Natsu asked. "Wh-what did you call me?" Oji asked. "Prince," Natsu responded, "That's what your last name means right, prince." Natsu said. "Oh, yeah." Oji said putting his hand on the back of his head. "Don't change the topic, what's wrong with your hair and eyes?" She asked. "I- um, it runs in the family, It's not bad, or a sickness or anything, it's just a.... trait of some sort I guess." He said. "Oh, okay thanks." Natsu said, than a bot with blackish grey hair came up to us, he was kind of sure of himself as he walked up to the group of three weirdos sitting under a cherry tree during lunch, away from the school. "Can we help you?" Natsu asked, "Um. could I sit with you three, I'm new, and I don't really have any friends, would you mind?" He asked in a friendly way. "Sure." I said. He took a seat between Natsu, and I, and then smiled, "My name is Aoi Kiba. "Nice to meet you!" I said, "Yeah, so where did you move from?" Oji asked, "Um... I moved from Tokyo." He said shyly, "I city boy huh?" Natsu said taking a bite of grilled fish. "Yeah, I'm new to this small town thing." Kiba said. "Well, we can show you the ropes, Oji here moved a here a few months ago." I pointed to Keisueki. "Really?" He said in a dark manner, through narrow eyes, I pushed the evilness to the side, and spoke through the silence, "Here Oji." I gave him a water bottle, with plastic that didn't allow you to see inside the bottle, which was of coarse blood, he took a drink, "Thanks, I was worried you forgot!" Oji said excitedly. He then took another drink, this time taking large gulps, and soon nothing was left in the bottle, he then leaned closer, and kissed my forehead, "Oji!" I whispered, "What if you had left a bit of blood on my forehead!" I whispered hashly. "Well I didn't!" He said laughing. "What are you two laughing about?" Natsu giggled, "Crap, I forgot about them." Oji said, his eyes wide, I didn't think he had meant to say it out loud. Natsu laughed, and Aoi was giggling also. "Are you two....?" Aoi asked. "NO!" I screamed, "I wish" Oji mumbled under his breath. "You should be, you two would be cute together." Aoi said opening his canister, and eating a few noodles quietly. I turned, I could feel I was blushing. "Aw, Rabbit, you're blushing arn't you?" Oji laughed. I moved my hand to strike him face, but he caught my hand, and pulled me in close, I was about an inch from his lips, "Yep...that's about a hundred percent blushing for me face." He joked, "Shut up Keisueki!" I pushed him away and started to crawl away. "Where do you think you're going, he tried to cautch me, but we both lost our footing when he grabbed my arm again, and we sliped down the hill tumbling, he pulled me in, and held me from the ground as we fell down. At the bottem he let me go, and I could see Natsu, and Kiba running to us. Oji was grumbling in pain, but sat up, as did I. "You alright rabbit" He said looking at me, one eye closed through the pain, he sounded as if the air had been pryed from him lungs. He opened his eye, and stood up, then helped me up. "I'm fine, thanks Keisueki" I said. He brushed off his clothes, and Natsu came to a stop near me, "Are you okay Yoru-chan!" She said, "I'm alright guys thank you." I said, "Oji took most of the blow" I said, "Are you okay Keisueki?" I asked, "I'm alright, a few grass stains won't be bad" He laughed, "You look pretty beat up, are sure you're okay?" Aoi asked, "Maybe you should go to the nurse, I'll see to it she's okay." Aoi said. "No, I'm fine Oji said, lets get back to eating." Oji said. "Alright if you say so." Aoi said. Then Oji, and I walked up to the top of the hill together, and in hand. "Are you sure you're alright Oji, you're limping." I said, "I'm fine, look." He picked me up, and taking me back to the blanket. We ate, and things seemed to be alright, but later that day, just as Oji and I started home, I triped, and Oji caught me, I went to grab his arm to hoist myself back up farther, as to stand, and his sleeve rolled up, it looked fine, but when I grabbed his shoulder, he winced in pain. "Oji..." I whispered "you are hurt". "It's nothing Kireina" He pushed me off, and rolled his sleeve back down, "forget it" He said, before laughing, "really, don't worry about me rabbit, it's my job to worry about you, and that's what I did right?" He giggled. "I guess" I said hesitently, but I didn't forget it, when we got home, we ate, and Oji and I went up to the room. I shut the door "Keisueki!" I yelled, "I know you're hurt damn it! Give my your arm!" I demanded. "It's nothing Kireina!" He yelled back, but I grabbed his arm, and unbuttoned his shirt, not all the way, but enough to see above his shoulder, where a blackish blue bruse was, and it looked bad. "Keisueki, why didn't you go to the nurse!" I shamed him, "Something was off about Kiba, I didn't want to leave you with him, everything I had told me to protect you around him!" Keisueki yelled. Aoi Kiba was odd, but it must have been just that he was new to our small town, nothing more right?....
