Five years ago, back in middle school I had met a young boy, he had orange hair, and bright orange eyes, his name was Onaji Tomodachi, we were friends up until middle school, then he left, he had moved to another town about 5 hours away, and we hardly saw each other after that, we texted, and occasionally called, and he was such a great friend, but I had almost forgotten him since Keisueki had showed up. His parents left him in a harsh living environment, they always yelled, and fought to no end, but Tomodachi was always happy, he would show up with new scratches, and bruises, but he was still Tomodachi, happy, loving, and always smiling, I wish I could have been there to comfort him, but he moved, and I got busy this year, summer though was just 3 minuets away...
"Alright class" The teacher called, "remember your report, and have a great summer". The class stood up and wandered around the room, Oji as always was surrounded by girls, he seemed in a bit of a pinch this time though, so I walked up to him. "Hey Keisueki!" I smiled and waved "Yoru! Hey" he smiled, his eyes seemed to sing out, thank you. The girls stared, some sighed, and most walked off. It was then the bell rang, and Keisueki and I took our time cleaning, and getting our things, but we soon made our way out of the school. We talked and walked to the gates chattering happily, I almost didn't here the small voice mew out. "Yoru?". Apon hearing my name I turned around, ye-. It was Tomodachi....
Keisueki glared, I could sense him eyeing the stranger, as to be expected after our incounter with Aoi.
"You haven't forgotten me have you Yoru-chan?" His orange hair blazed in the golden, setting sun. "How could I?" I instantly closed the gap between us with a hug, "who's this?" Keisieku asked. "Oh!" I sprang up, "Keisueki, this is my elementary friend Tomodachi!" I smiled, "but why are you here?" I turned to face him, "home...um...home got...bad as usual, but I saved enough to...get an apartment here, and start school, come next season, I'll be an official student on these grounds!" He frowned at the first bit, but soon returned to smiling after. "Really?!" He only nodded, "now... who's this" his glowing eyes trailed to meet keisueki's red ones, before Tomodachi got close to Oji, "He your boyfriend, huh Yoru?" He asked, I was shocked, and flustered, "N-no...nothing like that, just a good friend" I stammered. "Huh...if you say so" Tomodachi backed up, and smiled happily at the two of us, "You two wouldn't care for some food now would you?" He asked. "Please!" Oji yelled excitedly, I glared and he bowed his head "I- I mean...if you're offering" he corrected. "Are you sure my dad is okay with this?" I asked. "Oh, I stopped by earlier, he was glad to have me back, said it was all okay, and he also knew I would be here to pick you up...also...I'll be staying with you until my apartment is renovated!" he seemed to glow, his cat-like features echoing the shinning, yet growing dimmer, sun. "Alright let's go then!" We walked for awhile, befor catching a cab, and heading down to a small little chicken place, and getting a seat. "My treat, get whatever you'd like" Tomodachi said. After we ordered we talked for a bit, I filled him in on Oji, and I's living situation, "So we'll all be living together?!" Tomodachi glowed. I nodded and he jumped in his seat with excitement, even more so though when the plate of Sashimi was placed in front of him. He always had, had quite an appetite, and after we all ate, we caught another cab, and headed home. "We're back!" Tomodachi called heading in, he dropped his bag and took his shoes off running inside. Oji seemed to lurk like a shadow since the gates. "Oji...what has been up with you these past hours?" I looked at his dropped head, and brushed his white hair around lightly. Without warning he held me fast to the wall in an aggressive, hurried movement. He whispered, "be careful, he smells off, kinda like a wolf, but...so, so different, just watch out for strangers." He finally looked up into my eyes, his almost begging, no...pleading me to be careful. I nodded "it's alright, I'll be fine" He let me loose and we walked up to my room, the room was joined to the guest room with a large bathroom. Once we were in the room we could hear the shower running, and feel the heavy air caused by the steam. "Must be in the shower" keisueki said, I nodded in agreement as we both sat on my bed, it was then that Oji spoke. "Yoru?" He said in a questioning manner, "You know I love you right?" He said softly. I glanced down at my feet kicking back and fourth of the bed, "I know..." that was all I managed to get, I loved him too, I really did, but I was scared to tell him, how could I? Everything I've said to him, all the times I brushed him off, and after all, he was only here to protect me, he was never supposed to capture my heart like that, he was for me to take for granted, that was all there was between us. The bathroom door opened and the orange haired boy walked out, his white shirt fit loosely to his muscular, scrawny figure, and he looked so sleepy now, his hair was wet and he nuzzled the white towel gently to dry his face. He yawned and stared at the two of us. "Heya" he said sleepily, it's your turn. Oji stood up and walked into the bathroom, and closed the door.((Sorry this chapter was so long, I'm trying to add more to the story and wanted to give you a look at Tomodachi's personality))
