"Stiles, you're insane," Scott said while sitting down at their lunch table. A few other members of the pack sat down beside them and listened in. "What's going on?" Malia asked. She could see the concern on Scott's face. "Stiles wants to give up his life to bring Lydia back." The table got quiet and all looked at Stiles as he was midway through taking a bite of his food. He rolled his eyes and put his fork down. "I don't see the point of going on without her, she had such an amazing future ahead of her... I would do anything to be with her again, but I would also do anything to give her that chance again." He looked back down and began eating again. They stayed quiet.

Scott looked at them all with disbelief. "Seriously guys, tell him he's insane." he was beginning to get frustrated. "How would that work?" Isaac asked. Stiles looked towards Noah as an indication for him to take over the conversation. Noah sighed. "Well, basically the spell that the twins used was a 'life for a life' situation," He readjusted himself. "There was a requirement though, the person who was giving their life had to have some form of love for the one coming back." They all looked at Allison who had stayed extra silent next to Scott. "It sounds stupid, but those are the rules," Noah added. Everyone seemed to stay quiet for the next few minutes trying to understand all of the information that they were given. "So, are there any loopholes?" Isaac asked. He seemed to want to find a solution. "It's possible but very unlikely. Magic doesn't really get outsmarted." Noah responded.

"Why isn't anyone telling Stiles to stop?!?!" Scott was getting infuriated at this point. Stiles wasn't having it though. "Scott, you got your girl back and left someone else behind because of it," Malia raised her head up briefly then noticed people looking at her, so she put her head down. "Lydia was the love of my life, there's no one else. You tell me to move on, but I can't fall in love with a different girl every year like you. I'm doing this for her. End of discussion." Stiles then stood up and took his belongings. Awkward silence took over the table. And when the bell rang they all dispersed.

Scott and Allison walked together down the hallway towards their next classes. "Scott, I," Allison started. "This is my fault. Stiles shouldn't have to be the one that has to-" Scott cut her off. "Allison, nothing is your fault. He won't go through with it, but regardless I just got you back. I can't even imagine losing you again." His hand reached for hers but she pulled away. "Scott you know I love you, but we broke up for a reason before I died, and clearly I have a lot to figure out. Before we can resume anything I need to have things sorted. I need to talk to Isaac and reintegrate myself back into the life I had. I'm sorry..." she trailed off and Scott just looked at her with heartbroken eyes. "Um, you know what it's fine. I get it." Allison was about to say something else but Scott didn't want to speak to her anymore. He didn't want to speak to anyone for that matter.

The alpha walked out of the doors at the end of the hallway and left Allison standing alone. She knew in the end it had to be her who took the fall. Lydia only died to bring her back, it was unfair. Allison knew very little about magic but she knew that she wanted to bring her best friend back. Regardless if that meant she would lose her life... again.
