^ this chapter is a bit lengthy, but it's worth it!! I hope you enjoy this story and the journeys it takes!! : ) ^

"Emma I'm ready to go!" I shouted from my bedroom.

"Are you sure you actually have everything this time!?" She yelled back, her voice traveling slightly through the walls.

"I'm sure." I said with a slight giggle. "Now come on and hurry up before you make us late!"

I mumbled under my breath, "Again."

"Okay okay just give me a second,"  She responded quickly.

I finished zipping up my suitcase, picked it up and brought it to the front door. After getting a little curious as to what Emma was up to other than packing for our vacation, I went into her room and peeked over her shoulder.

"ADDISON!" Emma yelled as she noticed that I saw her phone.

"OoOo!! Who's that?" I said in a sarcastic voice after seeing her texting somebody.

"Uh- I'll explain later! But for now we've got a plane to catch, and if we want breakfast we have to leave even earlier," she replied trying to change the subject.

"Yeah yeah," I said, "but I'm not letting this slide..."

Who could this mysterious person be? And how important was it that she had to hide it from me? I mean, after living together for almost 4 years we usually tell each other everything! Then again, I know to mind my own business. If it's really something I should know about, she'll find her way around to letting me know when the times right. But now wasn't the time to worry about anonymous texters, now was the time to hit the road and enjoy the next week we had to ourselves in York New!! Yeah, York New. The land known to be filled with beautiful scenery, amazing food, and good looking men ;). IM KIDDING! After the incident 4 years ago, I haven't shown any interest in dating anyone, and neither has Emma. But something tells me that Emma might be getting involved with a guy, and he may just be that unidentified texter.

As we pulled into the Tim Hortons drive thru at approximately 5:35am I asked Emma what she wanted.

"Hmm, just get me the usual."

She was a pretty picky eater, which I didn't really mind. That just made it easier to order for her. Her "usual" consists of a blueberry muffin and a Carmel iced coffee. Pretty basic but hey, I'm not complaining. Since we would be on the road for the next hour to make it to the airport I decided to get myself a coffee as-well.

I pulled up to the drive thru window, and ordered our breakfast.

"Hi! I'll take two large Carmel iced coffees, one blueberry muffin, and one berry muffin."

"A large!?"

"Yes Emma, last time we went on vacation you fell asleep the halfway through the drive!"
"So?"

"It was a 20 minute drive..."

"Oh yeah... Well this time I won't be falling asleep at all!"

"Yeah yeah we'll see about that" I said sarcastically as I was handed our drinks and food.

"Thank you!"

*20 minutes later*

At this time the roads were starting to fill up with cars on their way to work at 6 am. The sun was mostly up and we had the whole day of traveling ahead of us. I've always loved traveling, no matter how far the distance was, or who I was with, something about it just made me enjoy life even more.
