Daniel's POV-

(Y/n) walked out of my apartment as I watched her. She was sweet, and pretty cute. She had a nice smile...

I caught myself before my mind started to wonder. I shook the thoughts out of my head and I desided to get teh rest of the stuff out of the car.

I headed downstairs and to my luck, we only had one box left. I picked it up and started to walk back.

Before I got to my room, I saw a blonde haired boy at (y/n)'s door.

I'll admit it, I was pretty curious as to who it was. He looked about our age. He was wearing a red leather jacket with a cobra logo on the back. I noticed a motorcycle parked out front that wasnt there before. I assumed it belonged to him. It was nice. He must've been rich.

That made me wonder... What was he doing here?

I crept up the stairs but I didnt go all the way. Just enough for me to see them and hear what they were saying.

He took a deep breath, straightened his jacket, and knocked on her door. No answer. A few seconds later, he knocked again. This time, (y/n) opened the door.

By the way he was acting before she answered, you would've thought he was nervous, but as soon as he saw her, he had a sly look in his eyes.

I glanced at (y/n). She... Was in a bath towel... What was going on?! The strange boy smirked as he eyed her up and down. "Mind if I come in?" He asked in that cunning voice.

"I, um, sure?" She replied. She backed up from the door to let him through so I could no longer see her.

I didnt realize that I was tipping the box as I watched them. Something fell out and made a loud clanking sound. My eyes went wide as the boy now knew I was watching them.

He quickly glanced my way with an angry look, but as if realising who I was, his expression changed. He smirked at me, seeming to say "bet you wish this were you" as he stepped into her apartment.

The door shut and immediately I felt an overwhelming amount of emotions. I sat down on the step and retrieved the thing that had fallen.

'Was I jealous?' I asked myself. I had no reason to be. I had just met the girl. That was probably her boyfriend.

But Freddy told me that she wasnt seeing anybody... I was super confused.

After all the thoughts had cleared I picked up the box and headed to room 20. I heard faint talking through the walls as soon as I walked in. It was that boy's voice.

I could really only hear faint muffled words so I went and placed my ear to the wall.

"But I will tell you somethin' (y/n), you cant protect that boy from everything! Especially not me!" The boy yelled.

Woah... Was he talking... About me?

Caught up in my thoughts, I missed a few lines, but then I heard something else.

"Don't hurt him."

"No promises!"

Ooookk... This was not good. I told myself to calm down. Whats the chance that he was talking about me? The rational side of me said I was overreacting, but the way he glared at me before entering her room said the odds were pretty high.

I backed away from the wall and I heard a door outside slam.

Then I heard another door slam. This one, I heard clear as day... It was clear enough it couldve been my-

I spun around as I realized that I had left my door unlocked. And sure enough, the blonde haired boy was standing 5 feet away from me, in my home.

My mother had went out to buy groceries about an hour ago so it was just me and him in the room.

I was about to ask him what he was doing but he said something first.

"Who do you think you are, talking to my girlfriend?!" He yelled.

Shit. Guess Freddy was wrong? I didnt say anything. I didnt know what to say.

"Cant speak?" He spat.

"But, I thought..." I started.

He cut me off. "You thought what?! That a beautiful girl like that would be single? Even better, she'd like you?"

I just stayed silent.

"Well you thought wrong. She's mine. You got that? You're nothing but a loser."

"I havent said anything man. You dont even know me." I half laughed at his overreaction.

"Oh, but I know your kind."

"My kind?" I tempted.

"Poor, jersey, wannabe who gets their ass beat because they dont know how to stay away from whats not theirs. Did I get it right?" He smirked.

I chuckled. "I dont think I've ever 'gotten my ass beat because I couldnt stay away from what wasnt mine'."

He laughed. "Yeah, well theres a first time for everything." He said and without warning he kicked me in the stomach.

I doubled over in pain. He didnt even give me time to get in a fighting stance, let alone defend myself. I had taken karate at the Y back in New Jersey but this guy knew a hell of a lot more than I did.

I got up, careful not to show signs of defeat quite yet. I put my hands up and balled them into fists and he charged at me. He threw a quick punch to my gut. I held my stomach to help stop the pain and he took this time to do a high kick, which hit my face.
A/n- Idk how to write actions from fights. It looks cooler than it sounds.

I fell to the ground in pain as he stood over me, breathing heavily. "Let that be a warning." He said as he made his way to the door. "Stay away from the girl." Was his last words, as he left.
