Destiny's POV

I nestled inside my grey sleeping bag, shifting around to find the most comfortable position. Our entire family laid outside the tent because they wanted to see the stars and tell the stories of ALL the constellations. I have heard the stories a HUNDRED times now. Ever since my mom married my dad, they have been a Greek Myth enthusiast. I swatted at the misquito that hovered in front of my face. I'm going to be bit to death at this rate...

"You see that one," Dad pointed at the starrry sky. "That's the pegasus."

"Dad, PLEASE don't go on any further. By the time when your finished, It would be morning... Of next week." Jonah complained. For once I agreed with him.

Juliet slept soundly between Mom and Dad, holding each of their hand. She loved the outdoors, but got scared too easily. Juliet reminded me of a five year old. Still needing supervision and protection. It's actually really adorable.

I closed my eyes, trying to fall asleep quickly. I was SO not going through the Hercules story. Just no.

I slowly drifted to sleep, unbothered and peaceful, but Jonah wasn't leaving me alone yet.

"Hey Retard. Hey! Wake up."

"SHUT UP, JONAH! I'm trying to sleep here!" I yelled a little too loudly. Mom glared at me and glanced at Juliet that was now awake.

"Destiny Loraine Cross! Keep your voice to a minimum or Italy would complain."

Jonah snickered, "Loraine...."

"Shut up, Jonah..." I muttered.

Jonah sat up and grabbed the flashlight. He flicked it on and shined it at a creepy angle.

"My turn for a story." Jonah grinned like a mad scientist. I restrained myself from grabbing my phone and posting a picture of his face on Instagram.

Dad smiled and nodded. "Go ahead, but make it Greek related."

Jonah rolled his eyes. "Fine, but I'm telling my own myth." He turned his entire body to face us.

He crossed his legs and began, "As you know, below the surface of Earth, in the other world, is the kingdom of Hades. One day, Hades broke from the underworld and decided to rummage the surface, Posiedon's domain. When Hades did, he let loose thousands of monsters and demons. Millions of ghosts and spirits left the underworld to taunt the living. Some, so desperate to live again, murdered the ones who still had a body.-"

"Jonah, if this story is brutal, I want you to sto-"

"-BUT THEN! The humans, desperate to get away from the monsters, called upon Zeus. Zeus set a boundary line between the humans and the underworld. Humans can get in, but the dead couldn't get out. After Zeus cleared out the monsters, he forgot to check and let one run loose. That one ghost's name was Kilion. He killed thousands of the living. Torturing, eating, and even stealing the body of his victims. Now he roams the woods, waiting for his next prey. The end."

I rolled my eyes at Jonah's ridicules story. Seriously? That was the best he can do? I turned to see Juliet trembling. Well, she's gullible.

"Jonah, are you trying to scare your sister half to death?" Mom asked sighing.

Jonah snorted as response and snuggled back in his sleeping bag. "The story isn't real. I mean, gods, monsters, ghosts? They're all made up stories. That's a fact."

I stared as I watched my mom and dad exchange small smiles. Smiles that meant something. A secret. I opened my mouth to ask about that smile, but was interrupted by a snap of a twig.

All heads turned to the direction of the noise. I could feel my heart beat a little faster. What the heck was that.

I slowly got up from my sleeping bag. Jonah sat up and eyed me. I knew what he was thinking. You go check it. I rolled my eyes and slowly tip toed towards the bush that the sound came from. I turned to see Dad hold Juliet tightly as she trembled. Mom held onto Dad's hand as she tried to soothe Juliet. Uh uh, I wasn't going out there alone.

I motioned at Juliet to follow me. She shook her head. I rolled my eyes.

"It might have been a small bunny that cracked the twig." I said, persuading her to go with me.

As planned, Juliet's eyes lit up and jumped out of Dad's arms. She trotted after me as I walked towards the bush. I kicked at it. Nothing happened.

"It's probably nothing." Jonah said as he slipped back in his sleeping bag.

"But what if there was really a bunny but ran away? Let's chase after it. It couldn't have gone too far." Juliet pleaded me.

I shook my head. "No way in hell am I going out there."

Juliet tugged at my sleeve and pouted. Dang this girl is lucky that her pout can melt a heart. I sighed and nodded, irritated that I wouldn't be sleeping for the next few minutes.

Leo's POV

The sound of the wind rushed through my ear, making Calypso's cries to slow down inaudiable. Festus flew at full speed towards the forest. We were here. Camp Half-Blood. Oh it was good to be HOME! I threw my arms up and hooted. I have no idea how long I was gone, but WHO CARES. I was home. My thoughts raced around my brain. I wonder how Piper is doing? Did Jason get taller again? Was Annabeth and Percy married yet?

The last thought caught me. What if their lives has moved on? What if they forgot about me? What if they weren't around anymore? What if Camp Half-Blood got attacked and was wiped out? Nah, they have the Roman camp as their ally, right? What if they killed them? I panicked.

"LEO, CALM DOWN!" Calypso shouted over the wind.

Yeah, I just need to cool down. Cool as I already am.... Cool, down.....

I took a deep breath, which was a terrible mistake beacuse I got a bug stuck in my throat along with a gallon of air choking me. I coughed and gagged which didn't go well for Festus.

CREAK CREAK.

"I won't throw up, don't worry..."

I caught sight of dark green. LAND! Oh mother earth Gaea I missed land. Not that flying wasn't fun....

I laughed, oblivious of the fact that we had a seventy percent chance of crashing. Calypso hit the back of my head which, thankfully, helped me realize that crashing into land was a detail I was over seeing.

"Festus, slow down!" I yelled. Festus creaked in response. I didn't like the sound of that.

"WHAT DID HE SAY?" Calypso shouted.

"Uh, I think he said that.... he can't stop...."

"WHAT?!"

We came hurling down. I squeezed my eyes shut, hoping that some miracle occures. I mean, I fought Earth itself, I must be literally made of luck. I heard Calypso's high pitched scream trail behind mine. You know darn well that I mean my high pitched scream trailed behind her scream.....

I heard a soft thud. I slowly peeled my right eye open. There's good news and bad news. Good news is that Festus landed safely so we survived! Bad news is.... We're busted.
