Chapter 16 "Answers"

It had been a while since the family dinner and Todoroki wouldn't lie you couldn't want to go back there anytime soon. The house was hectic with the 'women' in the family. He got nearly beheaded by the two bickering! He was just thankful you be alive and in one piece.

"Oi bastard. Gome here" bakugo barked out as todoroki came over and leaned on his desk to be face to face with the other. "what's wrong bakugo? You don't usually seem so irritated. Who got on your bad side now?"
The questioning didn't help much since bakugo pulled bakugo closer with his tie. He wasn't in the mood for talking so he was trigger angry.

"keep fucking talking and I'll-" before the other could finish bakugo started coughing and choking on his air. Todoroki instinctually reacted by yelling at Iida to get recovery girl while he patted bakugou's back. Everything was moving so slow but Todoroki couldn't focus, everything was a flurr.

By the time everything was solved and done bakugo was unconscious but in a stable condition but it didn't help todoroki since he decided to go for a visit boyfriend's parents they had to have answers for him. He wasn't going to rest yet. He need answers.

Once he got there he knocked on the door before only for it to be  opened by Mr bakugo. Today wouldn't be the poor old man's day.
Todoroki immediately rushed him against a wall as he asked every question on his mind furious.

"Why did bakugo start coughing up blood?! I'm pretty damn sure it ain't normal." Shoto fuming ashe growled before punching the wall irritated. It only got the attention of mitsuki tho.

"Hun are you alright? Who was at the door?" bakugou's mom, Mitsuki called out as she walked from the kitchen to only see a pissed Todoroki. Threatening wouldn't help nor would calling the cops so she just sighed before telling him to sit down at the table and that she'd explain to the best of her abilities.

"Bakugou started coughing up and nearly threw up blood but he passed out before he could. Why." todoroki stared up at the lady with eyes for daggers.

"well.. You see.. My brat is sick we don't know much. But we know it started around June." Mutsuki didn't look away from her cup of tea. Trying to find a way out of this but by the way he was acting he wasn't going to let her slip away.
Bakugou's dad went to get some cookie hoping it would ease the tension.

"Here. They're chocolate cookie with some powdered sugar om them." the man sat down next to his wife as he took the lead on explaining. "Katsuki isn't the more open boy and you know. In the old ages we didn't have quirks. It was just a mere fantasy. But now look at us. Honestly the doctor doesn't know anything so he came up with a lie."

"what was that lie?" todoroki pressed on but now the other male wouldn't let the wheel turn.

"i didn't finish.. But as I saying. Since quirks came into existence everything seemed so easy. Who says the fictional sicknesses couldn't pop into existence too? The flower sickness exists already."

"you mean the ha-" before he could finish he was cut off by the dad.

"Before you go jumping thinking maybe that's what wrong it's not. So far you're the only one who he shows so much love. And you love him correct?" shoto nodded as the father smiled "the doctor since he saw the video made up a sickness on the spot. Of course it was an obvious lie. All I can comfirm is that my son is sick but we don't know what."

Todoroki got up and bowed before apologising and leaving while mitsuki turned to her husband and asked. "If you know it was a why didn't you tell me sooner?"

"I knew the boy would find out sooner or later so might as well tell him too. Besides.. If bakugo doesn't know he'll have to tell his lover everything he's been hiding even if it doesn't fix anything."

"we both already know he's not innocent don't we?" mitsuki asked before eating one of the cookies.

"We do. But he doesn't. So we'll see how much he loves bakugo if he finds out."
