"No absolutely not!"

I sigh of course he says no, I mean obviously he's going to say no he doesn't want us getting hurt, why did we think asking him was a good idea? Emira and I share a look. As of now everyone but our Dad has agreed to our plan even if they think it's stupid.

Emira talked to Saylor in the morning after breakfast and she agreed to come with us. I don't even know if we should be going we don't even know if this myth is real or not. Emira seems certain that it's real and if she goes I go, plus if it turns out to be real then we'll have a cure for the curse we can reverse it, our magic won't go away, and the sleeping can wake up I think it's worth the risk... maybe... eh who cares it's an adventure who doesn't love adventures? "Bu-" "No it's to dangerous!" Dad's loud voice breaks me out of my thoughts.

"Dad!"

"No, end of discussion,"

"Dad ever since what happened you haven't let me or anybody else go anywhere! It's not fair!"

"It's dangerous Emira" Dad sighed

"So?", Emira angrily rolled her eyes. I felt heat coming from her direction.

"Emira and Rayana Rycadia I don't want to hear anymore about this! End. Of. Discussion!"Dad yelled.

I flinched at the scary tone of his voice. This time the heat was from him and it was incredibly warm, "Dad calm down it's getting to hot in here." I said as I wiped the sweat off my forehead, "both of you need to calm down." I send a look to Emira, they both take a deep breath and the air around us instantly feels cooler.

I sighed in relief fidgeting with my bracelet "thank you," I walked over to Dad and gave him a big hug "We'll let you go on with your day, see you at dinner," grabbing Emira's hand and dragged her out of the room closing the door behind me.

"What was that!" I whispered harshly to her as we continued down the hall to my room, "I don't know I just got angry!"

"You need to learn how to control your temper." Ever since we were little anything that made Emira really angry or irritated she'd loose control of her temper and heat up, I just had to laugh at it because I've been the victim off many burns, the reason being I'd accidentally touch her while she was 'boiling hot' is what she calls it.

"Yeah yeah I know take deep breaths blah blah blah" she rolls her eyes, I chuckle at her "I wasn't going to say that, I'm not my mother."

"You have her looks, though you have more of your father's personality," I stopped in my tracks at the familiar voice and slowly turned around to meet the bright blue eyes of the beautiful woman who stood in front of us.

Her curly red hair framed her face perfectly, as her red lips pulled back into a smile.

"Auntie!"

Emira and I exclaimed tackling her into a hug. "Oof! girls I'm not as young as I used to be you can't just go tackling me out of the blue," she laughed patting our heads "we all know you could take on a dragon without breaking a sweat."

Emira laughed as we got off of her, "what are you doing here Auntie?" "I'm here to help your father and of course Rycadia."

Emira's smile dropped at the reminder of the curse and how it's effecting the planet, "that makes sense we're going to need all the help we can get."

Emira and I shared a look, "You know there's this myth about this book and some keys something like that it supposedly has a spell or ritual to cure this curse..... It could be re-" Emira is cut off by Aunt Ginger holding her hand out to tell her to stop "I know I over heard you two talking to your father." I furrowed my eyebrows at her statement, "how? You weren't outside Dad's door when we left."
