I woke up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat. I tried to go back to sleep but I just can't. I decide to go on a walk to help calm my nerves. I put on my scout hoodie and open my door peaking my head out of the room and into the hallway. "Ok the coast is clear" i think to myself adjusting my hoodie pulling it down my face more. I walk down the hallway that leads to the front door. "Okay I made it-." My thoughts were cut off when I hear people talking in another room. I can't help but over hear who it is. It was my brother talking to Levi. I shiver at the thought of Levi thinking how cruel he was leaving me outside. "Nows my chance!" You say to yourself rushing toward the door. "ACHOO!" You sneezed. Well great...your gonna get caught. You decide not to give up and yank the handle of the front door and rush outside and towards the stables. You hear the door open again a few seconds after you leave and a voice...it's Levi. You fake gag at the thought and hide behind a wall. "Who's there?" He says coldly. You snicker knowing he didn't see you. You decide to keep going and eventually you end up at the stables. You look at the horses as one of them gets up from their sleep and neighs. "Shhh..." you say shushing the horse. You don't even know why you did that because not all of the horses we're neighing. "What a pain..." you say mumbling to yourself. That's when you look down to see you don't have shoes on. "That's even more of a pain..." you sigh looking up at the horses. You then feel a tap on your back and you turn around to see the person you wanted to see the least in the world. "What are you doing out here?" Levi says coldly. You ignore him and continue petting the black horse you saw earlier. You remember it was Levi's, you think to yourself. "What if he asks me why I'm petting his horse?!...I'll just say I didn't know it was his!...but he might know about my conversation earlier with Hange..." you get lost in your thought when Levi holds both of your shoulders, shaking you. "Brat are you listening to me?!" He says clearly annoyed. You smirk underneath your hood and decide...to keep ignoring him. "Your so annoying.." he says looking at my 'face'. "And your such a pain." You say back to him continuing to pet his horse. "I was just talking to the commander.." he says coldly. "Mhm and?" You say wiping your nose which is stuffy. "I...well he..." he says not knowing how to say sorry. You stare at him and flick his cheek. "Sorry?" You say as he glares at you. "No need." You say "its my fault for trusting you." You say walking away from him. "L/N..." he says as you walk towards town. "Save it, don't say it unless you mean it." You say shrugging. "I'm going home..I'll be back by morning, not that you care but just letting you know incase someone asks."

I arrive back at home and grab my stuff. I decide to make me a cup of coffee as I hear a distant 'neigh'. I sip on my coffee lying down on my couch. That's when I hear a knock on my door as I sigh walking towards the door. I look thought the peephole and see Levi. "The hell does he want...and how the fuck does he know where I live...he could of just followed me....but it takes so long to prepare the horses..." you say mumbling. "Name and purpose?" You say though the door. "It's me brat..." he says leaning against the door. "I said name and purpose." You say once again. "Levi...I'm here to take care of you..." the short captain mutters. "You? Taking care of me?" You snicker behind the door which causes him to scoff. "Open the door." He says standing up again. "...who sent you here..." you say looking through the peephole again. "The commander..." he says sternly. "Fine..." you finally give in opening the door. "About time..." he says standing there. I look at him in the eyes and say "It's open...you coming in or what?" The cold captain looks at you and sighs. "Yeah yeah..." he says looking at the floor. You walk over to your coffee and continuing to drink it.

I walk towards the kitchen and stub my toe which causes me to spill my coffee on my hoodie. "What a pain..." I say about to take off my hoodie. "Your so dumb..." Levi mutters taking off his scout uniform. "Take mine..." he says holding it out. "No thanks..." I say mumbling and start picking up the shards of the cup on the floor. You stabbed yourself multiple times with the shards picking them up, but it was all worth it in the end because there was not more mess on the floor. I look over at Levi who is sitting on the couch looking at the ceiling. You can't help but laugh. "Thought the Captain was supposed to be taking care of me..." I let out a laugh and shove the shards in the garbage can. "You can take it now..." Levi says pointing at the counter that has his uniform on it. You sigh and leave the room taking the uniform. I walk upstairs that leads to the roof of my house, I have a one floor house because everything else is expensive as hell. You take off your uniform and put it in the bucket of water and quickly put on Levi's uniform. You put the hood on and smile. "Its so warm..." you say out loud. "I guess it is..." you hear a voice behind you, It was Levi. "W-Uh- How long have you been standing there?" I blurt out. "When you said it's warm." He said bluntly. I stare at him and stand up. I shrug and stare him. You sniff because of your snot in your nose but inhale the scent of Levi. "I know how these things work...I'm not falling in love with you or your smell." You say turning around hanging your uniform up. "A thank you would be nice." He nudges my back. "As if you know anything about kindness.." you say then sneeze. "What a fucking pain..." you mutter hugging yourself walking back downstairs and into your house. "Come on Le- Captain Levi." You spit out walking towards another door that leads to your room.
