That means you may play the song for best feels if you are using the soundtrack **Alastor burst out of his study furiously. With a viscous wave of his hand, the door slammed behind him while he muttered curses under his breath. 'Insufferable—' Every time he had to interact with those from above, he remembered why he allied with the rebellion in the first place.
"...piece of shit—!"
The radio demon stalked through the hall as an occasional cloud of static flickered about him. He did not expect the deal to go over so easily with them, but it looked like the stakes were going to be higher than he initially realized. If he ended up getting himself stuck with the girl until the end of time, this whole ordeal was only a lose-lose for him.
Sure, she was a fresh breath of air to have around for now, and it was certainly an interesting change of pace for him, but for how much longer? Alastor reached up and itched behind one of his soft ears in irritation. They became ruffled whenever he let himself get too worked up.
He also promised the poor dear that she would get to heaven. She did not deserve to remain down here in the fiery pits of Hell one bit. And to make matters worse, she would be heartbroken. Oh, simply picturing such a dreary face on the little darling for all eternity was enough to make anyone feel depressed. Alastor's nails dug into his palm until an inky, black substance dribbled from underneath his flesh. He sighed at the cut on his hand. Another set of gloves ruined.
"Alastor!" A sweet voice called out to him.
'Speak of the angel.'
Charlie waved a hand to him from approximately ten feet away with Otis trailing behind her when she saw his usual appearance sunken over. Alastor immediately straightened his stance and flashed her a charming smile. This time, she reflected it. This masterplan of his had better work, or else no one would get what they wanted.
The damsel noted his extra fluffy ears. 'Whoa...so cute...' Her thoughts caused her skin to grow warm. For a moment, Charlie wished she could touch them.
"How did your thing go?" She asked.
The deer tipped his head to the side. "My what?" Charlie pointed her fingers off towards the side. "You know...that thing you said you had to take care of?" She specified.
"Ah, right. That."
Alastor stepped past her and peered at her over his shoulder. "Not as well as I hoped, sweetheart," he admitted. Charlie listened as her expression contorted into one of empathy. "I'm sorry about that, Alastor." His eyebrow arched. The blonde genuinely cared about his business to which she was completely unaware of the context. Her soft expression was causing him slight discomfort.
The radio demon brushed off her statement. "No matter, my dear. It's only a minor setback," he carried on. "Nothing you need to concern yourself with. So, what is it you needed?" As he waited for her to reply, he acknowledged Otis, who was standing directly behind her. Alastor had assigned him to keep an eye on her during her stay or show her around in his stead.
Charlie twirled so she could face him better. "Oh, I was wondering what there was to do...I'm not complaining, no! I'm just kind of, slightly, maybe a little bit...bored," she trailed off while poking her forefingers together. Alastor's monocle cracked at the word. His ears stood on full alert as he suddenly spun on his heel toward her. "Bored? Under my roof?? Ho, ho, ho, hohhh, nonsense, my dear!" He laughed. His arm looped around her shoulders while they miraculously appeared in a music room.
