Reader's POV
I'm only 16 years old, and my family was murdered a few days back on their way home from a party. Today, I was taken in by a kind girl named, Christine Daae. She found me in the cemetery wandering around. I heard she was a dancer and singer at the Opera house. She helped me into a carriage and came in after me,
"Thank you, Miss Daae."
"You're welcome... Miss...?"
"Oh! My name is, (Y/n)!"
"It's nice to meet you, (y/n)."
She gave me a heart warming smile. When we arrived at the Opera House, she gave me a ballet uniform,
"Here, put this on. I will go and get Madame Giry."
Madame Giry? She must be the ballet teacher... About 10 minutes later, a woman in a black dress with her brown hair in a long braid came in, and with a blonde girl in a similar ballet dress,
"Welcome Miss (Y/N). I am Madame Giry. This is my daughter Meg."
She signalled towards the short blonde,
"Hello (y/n)!"
"Hello."
Just then, Madame Giry and Meg left. Christine showed me around the Opera House. When she was finished showing me around, it was late. She led me back to the dorms and we went to bed. Hours have passed and I couldn't fall asleep. I quietly got out of bed wrapping my blanket around me, and grabbed a gas lantern. I wandered off to the washrooms and did my business. On my way back to the dorms, I got lost. I started to get scared as my lantern was fading,
"Oh no..."
I kept walking around trying to remember my way back, when suddenly my lantern was completely faded. I smacked it trying to make it work again,
"Come on..."
I gave up and kept wandering. I opened a door and it was a dressing room. I set the lantern down and looked around. The lighting was dim, but it was manageable. I looked around for a candle or any kind of light source. Suddenly, I had that strange feeling, as if I was being watched. I turned around and just saw a mirror on the wall, the fact that the mirror was attached to the wall sent chills down my spine. I walked up to the mirror slowly and used a trick my best friend (bff/n). I placed my finger nail on the glass and saw there was a gap in between my fingernail and it's reflection. I pulled my hand away as I saw something move. I covered my mouth saying quietly to myself,
"It's a two way, and someone's watching me..."
My eyes started watering up from the fear and my heart raced from adrenaline. I started hyperventilating and soon blacked out.
